love how google changed the listen option to 'beatbox' when you hover your mouse over it when you enter the beatbox.

We can't do this anymore just because of google, they updated the text to speech

I'm German, and this German voice at the end ("Slam!") is really how you would pronounce it in German, but the Germans also know English so they probably would pronounce it right...

There was a transient glitch during the roll-out of the latest improvements, which temporarily disabled beatbox support. But now that the roll-out is complete, it is working again now. Check it out.

@yackon4game because it says from english - german, and since the word order in english is different from german, it switched it around in order to equal what you just wrote.

@thatdrummercameron The trick is to set it to french or german so it doesn't do it in individual letters.

Google now recognizes when you put in a beatboxing pattern, and when you hover over the speaker it says beatbox I LOVE YOU GOOGLE

Try with Vietnamese, you get this pretty cool beat, sounds like some kind of party music.

@straps6661 You probably didn't set the language to English -> German, it has to be English -> German for it to work

Guess Google likes it too seeing as now when you try to translate German-German it has a special button that says ''beatbox''. :D

The listen button won't even work. It just duplicates and the second listen button shows up at the bottom of the translating box. :/

You can achieve it by basically writing anything that is not a word. I tried a series of different options and it gave different sounds. like "kst kst kst" and pft and other nonsensical things. It's pretty adaptable, you need to experiment.

This does still work! :) so cool ;D!

It also sounds good in Russian & Chinese.

when my friend and I copied that text in google translator and instead of listen there was standing beatbox. It was crazy

Every time you write pv zk bshck it doesn' t say translate anymore It says BEATBOX. Thumbs up if you saw that :)

put the language to "german to german", then click the beatbox button under your text which appears, then it works.. for me at least

@NonSenseZz I was using the right language but maybe too many symbols. It's odd that some of the one's made by people don't work when I copy/paste into translate.

@FalzarZ When I do English to German, and click listen under German (not English) it worked. But when you click under English, it says the letters.

My Google Translate tells me that German beat boxing sounds more like they read every single letter individually. I guess somethings just don't translate well. Gnuck gnuck gnuck....
