Hola, excelente video, muchas gracias por compartir tus conocimientos. Me ayudo bastante para exportar mis archivos, solo que cuando lo exporto por alguna razón lo hace plano. Si activo la opción de terreno en las capas, la altitud que toma es la del terreno, no la del archivo GPX. Si le das click derecho al archivo que se importa y después en perfil de elevación, se muestra una ventana. donde sí aparecen correctamente los valores de la elevación. Sabrás como puedo cambiar esto y que muestre la altura correcta?. Saludos y excelente trabajo

Hola Ernesto. Hace años que no uso esta técnica, así que no sabría decirte cuál es el problema. Quizás han ido actualizando Google Earth y algunas opciones han cambiado de sitio? No estoy seguro, lo siento

My SRT file displays properly in the converter. I'm familiar with GPX files but these do _not_ display, except when I have the Properties box open. As soon as the box is closed, the track disappears on Google Earth. Very frustrating.

Great tutorial! I'm running into an issue however when visualizing the .SRT file from our M300-RTK. It turns out that the Easting/Northing are swapped, resulting in the GPX track to be visualized off the coast of Somalia instead of Western Europe. Any clue how this can be resolved?

Hi. I'm not sure if that is possible. You might want to have a look at the navigation options under the tools menu. Or you could consider the Telemetry Overlay software, which has a Dynamic Map with orientation options ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qux3Op2eLPQ.html

App Prototyping Barcelona la que extrae los datos de la GoPro. Se pueden visualizar en la web pero no se pueden descargar. Sería de mucha utilidad poder descargar el archivo gpx. Gracias por contestar.

What to do when flight paths are imported at below ground level even with "Adjust altitudes to ground height" option de-selected (??) - Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

Sometimes either the data is slightly off or Google Earth has the altitude of a location wrong and buries the path. It surprises me that this still happens if adapting altitudes to ground height, as that should just flatten the path to the ground, like a road. In any case, you could look for a GPX editing program and increase altitude equally for all the data points

HEYYYY! I discovered the fix. AFTER inporting the GPX file, I right-clicked "properties" and under the ALTITUDE tab, selected "relative to the ground". Works great!

Yes. You will have to link your flights to airdata.com first and download them as GPX files

@@ScottOwens28 if you go to My Logs and select a flight, don't you see a GPX link under the flight map? I do. By the way, the CSV file is great for importing the data in Telemetry Overlay (see more info on my channel, if interested)

Do you get any error messages? Is you data good in the SRT viewer?

@@TelemetryOverlay Yes the data is good in the SRT viewer. When I import to google earth, the path is flat (even after unchecking "adjust altitude to ground height"). I think it might be an issue with a new update of google earth?
