In the last 2 tutorials, we created a map application which was showing a fixed location. In the 2nd part, we did the current location part and search a particular address on map. In this part, we will learn how to change the map type from normal to hybrid , satellite, etc. and how to zoom in and zoom out. All the tutorial are very helpful. How can I get/read my 100 locations (lat & long) stored in sqlite database and show it on google map. Please answer it...
Hi. So Im creating an android app now.. and what it will do is I send a coordinates via sms and the app will display the coordinates and then there is a button, if i click the button it will automatically open google map and it is pointed to the location of the coordinates. My problem is it is not the exact location. For example, I will send the coordinates 7.51,125.03.. the location is point in Maramag (somewhere in the Philippines) when I clicked the marker, the coordinates it display is different, and this different coordinates is the exact coordinates of Maramag, the coordinates 7.51,125.03 is not Maramag I searched it on Google. What might be the error? Please response ASAP. Badly needed it. Thank You in Advance.
+HankyPanky For that, you will need to connect your app to a database. You can use my tutorials on SQLite database and MySQL database to store the previous locations on your device.
I got question to you, could you make a tutorial: how to store and display a lot of images for desc, title etc in sqlite?? It seems simply if you programmed in e.g. php, but in my opinion in android its quitie difficult and in youtube i cant find proper video :)

Hi. I'm actually using your tutorials for our project called GPS tracking device using Google Map connected to an Android Application. Is it possible to connect this map app you created to a gps tracking device? Usually it will send the latitude and longitude of current location in your phone's inbox.. but in our project we want to send the latitude and longitude of current location to an android app that we will create. Is it possible? Your answer is very much appreciated and a big help for our project.
+Tech Academy thank you for the reply. Can you make a tutorial on how to get the longitude and latitude of current location using the gps of a phone? Im really having some troubles about it. I will greatly appreciate if you can. Thank you in advance.

Check what the error is in the logcat/Android Monitor. It will also tell you which lines are causing the error. I have an updated tutorial on Google maps. Check it out. This tutorials is 2 years old. A lot of things have changed since then.
