Honestly Linus, I love that you touched on the video recording when compared to iPhone. Other reviewer's just say "oh the video is were pixel is lacking" but then they don't give a very good comparison.

This was a great review, except for the fact that there was no real mention on actual day to day battery life and ram management

Yeah Apple should really take notes of that burning dumpster fire. No 256 gb, no memory expansion, No more dual front camera, screen to body ratio moving backwards, only 100.000 to 1 contrast ratio (and they are bragging about that, meanwhile the iPhone 11 pro has 2 mil to 1), 90hz yet only a 2800 mAh battery (smallest on the market at $800), no more unlimited free hq photo storage, they use the snapdragon that is already outdated, no more fingerprint reader even though they marketed theirs over years, no more front facing speakers. All that crap and no price reduction. Yet they have the guts to introduce a telephoto lens after they swore last year they can do all that other cameras do with two cameras with one, and their camera cannot even do 4k at 60hz (the iPhone *8* can do that). There is even more on the software side! Their face unlock is not fully 3d based and does not require you to look at the phone. The Air gestures don't work nearly reliable. Daydream is dead. My god I really hope Apple looks at this and takes all the notes! Best way to fuck your self over ever!

The only thing I know is that the swipe up gesture in the iPhone after it recognizes your face is for you to be able to see your notification if you have. You may not want to open that notification so it is not necessary to go straight to homescreen if you just want a quick check.

I love how Apple accurately represents what an actual portrait shot would look like with a professional lens, and Linus gets a hard-on for Pixel cutting out and making edges crispy. A very decidedly NOT portrait-like photograph.
