How's the battery life?

Walter Genius I get full day out of it. It has long battery life. Before on my Nexus 6 I had to walk with my charger to work but with the Pixel XL I end the day with 40 or 30%. Unfortunately on February 26, I went to bed and woke and found the phone off. Plugged in the charger and nothing. The phone would not turn on. Read through forums and see lots of other people having the same issues. Ebay won't take it back because it's pass the 30 guarantee and PayPal said I lost the case to the seller because he provided more evidence than me. So I'm stuck with a dead phone. Anyway I loved the performance and experience so much that I closed my eyes and ordered the Pixel 2 XL soon to arrive this week.

Walter Genius Based on the complaints I read on the forums it seems to happen to the 128gb model I had, I don't remember seeing anyone with the 32gb model having that issue. People report freezing before it shuts off and won't turn on. But with mine I fell asleep and forgot to plug it in. I came home from work with about 30% battery. In the morning the phone was dead and it never turned back on.
