@@shvkpr1 I have to agree simply because it's the only Pixel where battery life is amazing. I never had a smartphone with 8+ hours screen-on-time and now I feel like this should be standard. I never have battery anxiety even with just 20% juice left.
I'm guilty, I use to slam the pixels from here to Tim-buc-too until the I got the 4xl. Now, instead of slamming them I have high praise. So I learned my lesson, don't pop off until you buy one. Now I can say what the hell have I been missing. Quite a bit actually. The pure android experience is 👍 great. Very well built with it's simple design, I luv ❤ it. Extremely fast with only 6gigs, 📷 's 👍 great. Yep, my new luv, the 4xl! 599.oo, stimulating 💰 well spent?
Still the best camera quality Face unlock support has improved Simple hardware has been durable Software updates add to the experience Performance remains good
@@stefanocalo8608 i think it just became like a cool thing to do, they love to bitch and complain about the Pixel's ... These tech dudes are a community so if someone says the Pixel sucks then everyone will need to say that too. And that does a domino affect, I have talk to people who complain about the Pixel and they have never own one. They just go by what their favorite tech says on RU-vid.
LG had the ultrawide camera for years and no one cared. As soon as Crapple and Shamsung followed suit, suddenly that's all the reviewers care about. Me personally, I'd prefer a telephoto lens.
I just sometimes fail to process the number of adjectives that come to my mind after I watch the intro of every video made by you. You are so good at it. We crave for your content. Keep it up.
Honestly love these type of videos - where the phone is reviewed after a few months on the market - allows the users to get used to whats new and whats improved over time Brillaint work Oh, that tracking shot at the beginning - 😍
Im not into curved displays, flat ones are my preference. Therefore I enjoy the display on this phone, and on the original pixel, over the second and third iterations. Its just more comfortable for me and easier for one handed use when the display isnt just flopping off the sides.
Straight to the point, no specs info overload, love it! Great video, would love to see a video comparing experience on Android such as on third party apps that people use
TBH I loved the Pixel 4 XL. It is the kind of phone to use without a cover. It feels so good in the hand, but... Too expensive. If they'd made it a $599 phone, probably I would have kept it. Or at least a full flagship.
I think the people have blown many things out of proportion about this phone. Sure the camera is missing features, but it's still one of the best cameras on any phone. Sure the screen isn't perfect, but it's decently bright, high resolution, and 90hz. Sure it doesn't have the features of other phones, but it also has several hardware and software features that others don't. No, it doesn't have a 5,000,000,000mAh battery, but it still consistently gets over 7 hours of screen on time, and I don't know anyone that would say 7 hours of screen on time is "bad battery life." It has wireless charge. It has fantastic speakers. It is water resistant. And people laugh now, but two years down the road when you're Samsung is 9 software updates behind, the tables will be turned on who is laughing.
You are right I bought standard pixel 4 just coz i wanted small device , but battery was terrible plus screen started working on its own after a week . Glad that i kept my note10plus which has got plenty of modifications in software . I had to return pixel 4 and yes it is very boring phone plus only few apps support face unlock , which i thing is far behind than iphones
I couldn't agree with you more, my Pixel 4XL is excessively boring. Battery life mediocre, software experience super simple and bland. I've been wanting for the last couple of years to Google up the ante in UI design on stock android. I don't like launchers, used Nova for a couple of months and ended up deleting it. Pros (to not leave this on a sour note) Screen, 90hz, Camera, speakers and face unlock.
I'm gonna assume the "decent battery life" only applies to the XL because the smaller 3 already had pretty pathetic battery life out of the box, and now the smaller 4 has a smaller battery, 90Hz display, and that Soli thing that is always on to detect gestures.
It's so 😴 boring 3wks ago I got the 4xl for 599.00. Now it's worth the 💰. Wow-we, with only 6gigs of 🐏 it's blazing fast. It even keeps up with the speed 😈 demons one plus? Google's software anyone? The display, excellent, could have been alittle brighter. Indoors it's 🙂 fine. The major complaint, the 🔋which for me with forced 90hz, 6hrs SOT, not too shabby & acceptable. The pure android experience has been great along with the camera's. At this price for me it's a no-brainer. It's just as 👍 good as my daily, the S10+, maybe even better?
Oh damn, that was short, kinda refreshing though! Considering all these, in the face specs nowadays realllllyyy don't matter as much as they used to! You cut it short, to get to the stuff that really matter! Love this!
Good job, succinct explanation of the phone but you didn't give much of your personal experience behind using the phone these 5 months, really you mostly just described the phone.
A very boring phone that I just ordered? Yep, I waited for a price drop. 599.oo, I can live with. Thank you stimulating check? Those 📷 's, 90hz display, a boring design that I luv. I'm ready to be bored, which I highly doubt. Very good review!
Such a good video! Dam your videos are the best of the best on youtube. Could you do more videos of macs and imacs after a long time like long term review? Long term reviews are really important in my opinion. Hope you are good and stay safe!
Lol I think most of our phones are like this we've been toooooo spoiled honestly in most cases nothing we haven't seen. At least with Google who's a software company you might actually see new features you are assured 3 years of updates and I like Samsung but no I could never fully recommend their phone's if you ever wanted updates. they hardware fire though. One plus, iPhone gives updates.
idk why people are bashing pixel not having wide lens, i care less for wide lens. i prefer telephoto, i had wide lens for years and i have no use for it
your paying for 3 yrs of security updates & 3 next iterations of android its fine I just prefer da finger print sensor because I open my bank app with that
@@STAR-RADIANCE I'm sure you're aware yours using a Google product, RU-vid. And you know Google Maps is better than Apple maps. Google Assistant is better than Siri. Google Software is better.
