Hey bud, nice video! Wonder if you could give me a hand with this: I want to buy a renewed Pixel 4a or 5 (because of their size) to make it last for the next 3-5 years. I decided to do this because of the gross e-waste that renewing phones every other year produces. Also, because I really don´t need or want to renew my phone every 2 years; I don´t need the most powerful CPU, the biggest display, or the newest camera. Whatever phone I buy, I would debloat it just like this guy did: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MFbXFG2xDJI.html Just like the guy from the video, my main productivity devices are my PC and Android E-reader, so I would only need my phone for things like a camera, Spotify, Google Maps, Uber, WhatsApp, Browser, RU-vid, Microsoft 365 and OneNote. To make my phone last 3-5 years, I would even accept changing the O.S. to something like Graphene OS (just if it's necessary to run the apps I just listed). Also, I don´t care if the Pixel original OS doesn't receive any more updates from Google, as long as the phone can handle the apps I need, I´m more than satisfied. I also don´t care to have an old version of any of these apps; as long as they work, I´m fine. In respect of the battery, I would buy 2 generic batteries from eBay, and expect to use them as replacements when the original one is too bad. I also don´t care if I have to use a power bank. All this being said: -Do you think is fair to expect either of these phones to last 3-5 years, based on my requirements and flexibility on changing things in the run if needed? -In how many years do you think I will have problems with the apps I listed (to not be able to use them at all)? -Which phone would you recommend buying: 4a or 5?
