If you feel like supporting me please use the links in the description to pick up a Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro. I'm extremely grateful for each and every one of you!
Awesome video man, didn't know about a lot of these AI based/software features in the camera app. in app photo editing looks very strong as well, when did they add the temperature control? I dont see anyone else talking about that
Hi Jonathan. When I go onto my raw photos they are all very pixelated yet say they are 10mb in size. am I doing anything wrong? Also would you be able to edit a raw image using the phone or lightroom on your phone?
Its not. You cant zoom in without the images looking like crap. Im trying to find some fix for it. I was getting into photography for a few years and then upgraded to this 50mp pile of trash. Lets face it the images are 12.5mp. not 50. And in doing so i lost my chance to get the lgv60 which had a real 64mp camera and mind blowingly good ai. Now im stuck with oil paint effect images.
Never comment usually. But damn. Best pixel video by far. Received my new 6 pro today can't wait to use it more after having the 3xl /4a / and 5 this is by far the nicest so far
This was excellent! Thank you ❤️🙏🏽🕊️ It was fully enjoyable and informative. It's nice to learn about a device, especially when some things aren't mentioned on launch days. It's also a positive way to review tech, because you're focusing on possibilities and opportunities. The Pixel Phones keep getting compared to iPhones, but it does many unique things that other smartphones don't do, because of the software and AI. As a result, most reviews cheat the Pixel because they only compare what the commonalities. I think we need to review each phone on its own merits. Let them live in their own context and let the viewer make the comparisons for themselves based on what they need. This was refreshing because it achieved that intentionally or unintentionally. It's also shows that you actually use your phone and get to know them. Many reviews don't show this. When you keep comparing, you're not experiencing something for what it is to you. Great job 👍🏽 P. S. I will be saving this and watching to get to know my new Pixel Pro 6 when it arrives in January 😂😭 I would love to see any more videos like this helping owners to get the most out of this device.
Thank you. I've watched so many camera reviews and comparisons of the Pixel 6, and nobody has pointed out more than 1-2 of the things you mentioned. Everything you talked about was cool but I like the voice enhancer feature the most.
@@OT4Tech I remember one reviewer complain that during Pixel recording, the voice of the main speaker was too low and background noise was too high (compared to an iPhone 13 Pro Max). He clearly hasn't watched your video 😀
Liked subbed and saved the video to my playlist, as I'll need to watch it again due to being distracted, playing with my new Pixel. lots of really good info, thank you
One of the best and knowledgeable Pixel 6 videos here! This clip is greatly helpful to an ex-iPhoner like me. You definitely deserve more subscriptions, and I subscribed right the way. Brilliant and thoughtful piece!
i am taking photos with phones for over 10 years and my last phone before the pixel 6 pro was the pixel 4 xl. Your tips are awesome, i have learned a bunch of new things from your video and i will try it tomorrow on my pixel 6 pro
Outstanding video, thanks for doing the work to show all of these. Was lucky to be able to get a 6 pro and am completely blown away by it including the camera and editing (and I do know photography). On top of everything you mention, I can also access Snapseed directly from the editor. And, am so blown away by all of the modes and settings in the camera. Looking forward to playing with the raws and portrait mode, and I have no doubt that things only get better from here as Google continues to add. Pixel 6 has moved me off Samsung and a long as Google keeps going with tensor and this type of software, I don't see myself going back (as much as I've been a diehard Samsung fan).
👀 theres not many modes and settings and the camera sensor/apps..google locked the app developers out of the sensor so they cant finction properly. All my images look like oil paintings and i cant find a way to disable that. Ive been using my old lg phone with its 16mp cam for photography because this 6 pro is so bad.
@@OT4Tech well, I'm pretty pissed at Google to be honest 😂 I'm in the UK and they really limited our options! The only one they had in 256gb was black 😡 I don't mind in a sense because I'll use a case often but I really HATE being forced to choose a colour purely based on the storage options 😂 I wanted the white in 256!! Nevermind! Very poor on Googles part though considering how big of a company they are.
Great video man.. Really in depth and helpful.. I got the pixel 6 on thy day it released, been waiting for it for ages.. Couldn't justify 300 pounds more for pro.. Cheers for video
The 'Post 'Stablizing' is something I discovered myself on my Nexus 6P ! I was So pleased with it, (as I'm sure you know, the 6P had almost No Stabilization), but the 'Post' made some Very Shaky Videos PERFECT ! 😊 I Now have The Beautiful Pixel 6 Pro 🤗. JaneLee - in Suburban Philadelphia 5/29/22
Outstanding.... Thank you. At some future time, I would like to hear you describe which lense to use for different outcomes. EX: When shooting (standard camera mode) a group photo of say 40 people in which all 40 fill the screen, the people at the extremes are quite distorted due to the wider angle setting..... I would like to see a tutorial on best methods to eliminate such distortions. Thanks again.
It's too late to have bought my Pixel 6 Pro through your links, but I encourage others to support this man by doing so. Thankx for your educational work.
Best video on the photo I've seen. The most popular phone reviewers have no idea what this phone can do. I think Google should stop calling it a phone and call it what it is - a camera above all.
oh wow! a big thanks for all them tips, i just ordered a 6 pro hoping the camera is good enough, then your video showed up ! you have a great camera man !
we can finally change cameras INSIDE the instagram app (and other socials). THIS IS A FIRST TIME EVER FOR ANDROID DEVICES. Pixel 6 is the first android ever to be able to change to the ultra-wide and telephoto lens IN APP.
nice! love that there is a temperature slider now! photos from a pixel are always a tad to cool for my taste. gonna take me an extra second now for every photo but i don't mind. (of course, i also probably still have to pull the highlight exposure slider a bit down each time, cause apparantly people like overexposed images..)
Thanks for your video! For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to make my Pixel 6A camera have wide depth of field. It focus on only close objects or far, leaving the other distance blurry. Do you know how to bring everything into focus?
I've been very, very happy with my Pixel 6 Pro. I also tied my two work cameras (Canon 6DM2s) to the phone, and download the images that way. The Pixel 6's native camera is really a spectacular camera with impressive capabilities. I've also found that Google's Snapseed is a great app for additional editing. Thanks for the video, I'm looking forward to learning more about the P6P's video capabilities!
Samsung has its perks for sure. Ultimately, I prefer the S21 Ultra camera experience but the Pixel 6 is really nice. It has some stand out features that I wish were available on my S21.
One thing my old phone camera did that this one doesn't is a voice command. I used to be able to say cheese and it would take a photo from a distance. It was very handy
I'm a bit late to the Pixel party, I got my 6 Pro a few days ago but I'm really happy so far. Feels a lot more clean and pure compared to my S20+ also the camera is insane!
Love all of the tips and tricks in your video! I just got my Google Pixel 6 pro purposely for the camera and it's options. I'm not sure if I'm blind, but I can't seem to find the "mirror image" option while taking a portrait selfie. Any idea where I can find that? Thanks!
Getting a new Pixel 6 Pro on Monday.... thank you so much for sharing this.. I was totally amazed by all of these features...I have the Pixel 4 XL and I know I don't have most of these post editing tools. Magic Eraser is very impressive. I'm thinking...why should I keep my stand alone mirrorless camera that is a lot heavier to carry around?
Thanks for all the useful information. I have very basic question, how to save the timer setup? For example I change timer to 3 seconds but it only works one time, next time launch the camera it returns to original set up. Thanks for your help
