Google Pixel 6 Pro Glass Digitizer LCD OLED Replacement Detailed Repair and fingerprint transfer 

I'm a technician myself and had to repair my own pixel 6 pro screen a few months ago. Thanks Soo much for this info. I didn't bother changing the finger print scanner at the time but considering Google's fingerprint calibration tool still isn't working on there website I'm gonna get some T700 and a few other tools for at home and get my old screen and bring the fingerprint sensor over and hopefully get finger print scanning back.

You forgot to transfer the snap in brackets, with them you don't really need t7000 especially if the fingerprint reader will be replaced.

so let me get this right you didn't want to detach the screen without unplugging the battery first? even though you're replacing the screen anyway. 🙄 I'm replacing a pixel 6 screen in a couple of days my son broke it a couple of days after we bought it and I hadn't replaced it. it's been months. course I tried to turn the power off by holding it in but I couldn't tell if it was ever turned off it probably just burnt itself out. I enjoyed the fact that you actually show what you're doing and not skip a million steps. I actually watched mini videos on screen replacements nobody shows how they apply the adhesive. 😭

I'm looking at buying and replacing a 7 pro screen. I'm sure it will be the same procedure to replace the digitizer. However most suppliers sell two flavours of screen replacement... One with frame and the other frameless. Is there any reason why we should opt for the framed digitizer which is usually only a little more expensive??

As someone who literally JUST dropped their Pixel and hit just right to destroy my screen. Thought I would look up how to repair thinking it would be simple like repairing my Lumia 1520. Yeah, forget this... I'm gonna pay someone to do it and hope for the best.

Sorry a bit confused, are the first 2 links in the description the actual replacement screen or are those just screen protectors?

If we use a pre-cut adhesive tape does that make the device waterproof?

Can it pell off if cracked if a decent large gap over the screen front camra

Can it pell off if theres a gap between the camra lenes it seems i may have a extra screen on it i had an 8 i manaaged to loose and it naver had near as a thick screen or gap hole in the front face camra please help me friend

I just repaired my first one. That connector you have to pull out sucks. You are trying to be delicate like so many times lol.. but I did the repair good but fingerprint isn’t working. I believe it needs the tool

My pixel pro screen was flickering since couple of days with cracked screen but today while charging it. Just turned off all of a sudden... Any reason why? Will it be just the screen or more than it?

You can turn it off with the power button… you just need to hold down power button and volume up then you get the option to turn off

You didn't pull the black plastic frame from the broken LCD and transfer to new one . I see the new LCD has no frame.

Did they finger print needed to be calibrated?
