I have this same TPU screen protector and it works very well. What I discovered is that it is also "self-healing". This means that if you get a small scratch on the film, it will heal itself (the scratch will disappear) over a few hours time. This also works very well with the fingerprint sensor. It was very easy to install and I have ZERO bubbles. Also, because of the thickness of the film, it does provide "some" protection against hits. I dropped my phone and the screen hit the corner of a curb (screen hit the curb concrete), but no damage was done to the screen. I highly recommend this film! I did not use the camera protector because I have a case that protects the camera bar very well and I don't want anything covering the camera lenses that may distort my pictures. Also, thanks for showing everyone in your video how to PROPERLY use the fingerprint sensor. I'm so tired of watching people do RU-vid videos and incorrectly "tapping" the fingerprint sensor and then complaining that it's not working well. It's an OPTICAL fingerprint sensor that uses a light and a camera to capture an image of your fingerprint. It takes a second, so it's not going to just unlock the instant you place your finger on the sensor. You MUST place your finger FULLY on the sensor and HOLD IT THERE until the phone unlocks. It only takes a second (as observed in your video), so people complaining it's not opening in HALF A SECOND are just being impatient and ridiculous!
Thank you for watching ! And yes I know. It may not be as fast as other phones, but it’s getting there. That’s what happens when you get spoiled with another phone. And yes it self heals which is what I loved about it. Don’t forget to subscribe 🙏
Thanks for the clear install demo. It took a lot more for me to get the bubbles out and watching you first make the it easier to know I was doing it in the right order and right way.
Just fyi, the fingerprint scanner definitely does work with this screen protector. Better infact that most of the tempered glass ones that leave that giant thumb circle showing at all times.
Just wanted to say thanks for making this video. These screen protectors really are the best i've ever tried, their instruction booklet is very confusing though, so I'm really grateful for you. Thank you!!
I love these protectors! I've had it on my phone with an Otterbox (cause I protect my damn $1000 phone). We're building a house (with our own two hands) so it's been taking a beating. I even dropped a pallet on it once, right in the middle of the screen and it was fine! Not a scratch! I did eventually drop it just right to crack the screen and came right back here to put the new protector on. Thanks for the video!
Worked just as planned, and for me I notice the small bubbles disappeared after an hour or so after installing. The option to increase sensitivity was the cherry on top
This is my second time trying to apply this protector but I still have tiny bubbles throughout that won't go away with the tool. Will these go away over time or should I just start again?
If there are tiny particles behind the bubbles than they won't go away. But if there's bubbles and you're sure that you cleaned the screen 100% before applying it, the bubbles go away within a day or 2.
hey which case you got there ? i got a tpu protector and my case peels the corners off and the only tempered glass ones i have seen have some weird circles on the fingerprint sensor
These instructions are total bullshit. I had to use all three screens to get it somewhat presentable! Even the third one is covered in bubbles. The stupid green line did not come off when I pushed downward for the bottom part.
