Wasn’t double the work though, funny enough normally it is double the work, as I installed the aligner after using the dust removal sticker and normally I would go back over it with the dust remover but for some reason in this one I didn’t do it
i think the new screen protectors for the pixel 6 are the issue here. I used a hatoshi oneplus 8 pro tpu screen protector as a temporary way to protect my screen until i get a screen protector for my new pixel 6 and is better than not having anything on anyway... And i have not one single issue with finger print scanner it works flawless every time no issues at all for the past 7 days since i got it. so there is something else going on here...
You must be one of the fortunate ones then mate, as every pixel 6 and 6 pro owner is reporting finger print scanner issues, I have both and even without a screen protector both have a hard time. I’ve got a S21 Ultra with a screen protector on and has 0 issues
Is it ok to have the screen protector over the front cam? I realised it covers the camera after i applied it.i am not sure if it changes the quality of the image
Hey! How is this screen protector holding up after Almost 5 months since you posted this video? Is it great? Do you see any air bubbles on the corners? I applied the Caseology screen protector on my Pixel 6 and it has now started showing an air bubble on top left corner of the screen, and it was perfectly installed without any air bubbles. This is after 1 month of use and not even under harsh conditions. AFAIK, Caseology is a sub-brand of Spigen, so I am really interested in knowing if this exhibits similar issue. Btw, great video. Simple clear explanations.

would you describe the quality of the screen protector to "feel" like hard plastic, or actual glass? although the product says tempered glass, i was wondering does it FEEL like its just hard plastic??

Exactly what I need to know, trying to establish are my fingerprint scanner problems caused by hardware, software or tempered glass. I can't rock £850 phone with no biometrics or screen protector, I'll be sending mines back
@@MrFTmedia i believe it's a software issue and google is already working on it. Older pixels had many problems, look at them now, best of the best! It's just that we got a great deal with the Bose Headphones, you can sell them for 180£ easily!!
I've tried 3 screen protectors off amazon, got 3 refunds without sending em back all because they claimed they was compatible in description. Amazon agreed they was missold.... holding out for Tk screen protector in the uk or a software update....in the meantime my 14 day return window is ticking
It does but still has the same issues as always, I just re added my fingerprints and works perfectly for a while, fingers crossed Google fixes it with an update
Please don't buy this screen protector! it isn't compatible with the fingerprint sensor, spigen even removed the product from their website and amazon, I had to return it.
Click the link, available for delivery today! Spigen have not discontinued the protector, chances are it’s sold out in your area and it will take a few days to get stock back in just like with the pixel 6 cases when the phone came out
I spoke to Spigen and Amazon and both said that they will not have this available until mid Jan 2022. This isn't available for pixel 6 or 6 pro on either site anymore.
@@PaulRankinYT yeah and having multiple copies of both thumbs on there. I’ve managed to get it to unlock once or twice out of about 50 tries. Shame as it’s really easy to install and looks like a good product. Hopefully Google will either put out a update or at least have a list of compatible screen protectors before my phone is full of scratches
@@rushy3001 can honestly say I’ve had no other issues with mine apart from it’s normal stuttering of letting me in which it was doing before I allowed the screen protector. Mines definitely staying on don’t want any scratches on it
@@marcusjochimsen7218 yeah I tried that option. Just couldn't get it to work for me unfortunately. Seems to be hit or miss with who gets issues from what I've found on the topic. Without the screen protector I've not had any issues with the scanner. I've ordered a different brand from Amazon to see if that will make a difference.
