No but they complain about the lack of wireless charging which is even slower than 18 watts. So who the fuck cares wireless charging is slow compared to wired just like Bluetooth sounds shitty compared to wired headphones. A direct connection will always give you a better experience
@@ianwest1624t wirelessly. They can't even use a 10 watt plug to wirelessly charge. It has to be 7.5 or 5. Embarrassing for a fucking $1,000 phone doesn't even have fast wireless charging and 60 refresh rate too... People who buy Apple phones are brand horrors. They're the kind of people that don't even check out other phones. They just buy the latest Apple. The worst kind of people kind of like Samsung ultra people who think they're just getting the best phone cuz they're buying the most expensive LG v60 is better than any Samsung ultra Samsung has a big budget and they give a lot of these reviewers shit for free so they suck off Samsung's dick and say how good their phones are and shit when they're really not even their new phones have lag. Shutter leg bug city below. Where for days?
@@richardlionheart5161 straight talk at Walmart in the USA. They offer many nice phones for cheaper prices here... Dunno about elsewhere.. also just grabbed a rog g15 2022 with a 3060 and a 6800h for $900 b4 tax... The silicone crashed here HARD... could imagine these low prices have to do with svb collapsing this year.
I'm torn between Pixel 6a and Samsung A54. I can't decide which one to buy. The differance is about 55 dollars for me, 6a being cheaper. I love how compact 6a is and lighter but I can get 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage instead of 6/128 with Pixel 6a. I can't decide.
So with storage and RAM being a concern for you, I tell you the truth ~ what this 6a is equipped with, you will not notice any difference one bit! This device is buttery smooth and I hold to that statement. Also RAM management is a breeze!
I got this phone brand new for £200 and I'm currently using it now! I think this phone outdoes the iPhone SE due to its screen size and perfect portability. If you're not an iPhone fan and prefer Google's software this is a great budget option. The processor is the same as in the pixel 6 and 6 pro and there isn't much of a performance increase with the new gen 2 tensor chip in the 7a 7 and 7 pro.
@@kris01405 stuff like chrome and google search have just had very simple features and bad protection for years while we have browsers with integrated AI and tools in just a click, and adblockers that can block yt ads, and much more appealing search engines
I've been using this device since mid 2022. Let's simplify: why only this device heats up - even when sitting idle ? It's the terrible Samsung processor inside, that's the only issue with this device. Neither do cheaper Chinese devices heat like this nor do apples, so why this ? I'm not just everyone, nor am I just saying, I'm actually living with it in the real world - guess you haven't used the device. Warm ? Overheating ? Yes we can distinguish between the two. @realworld - your viewers aren't dilinquients. Wish this device had a snapdragon inside like it's predecessors. That's the only miss and the on-going issue with the entire new pixel line up.
I had the 6a, it wasn't perfect, but for the money it was great. Having gone through the pixel 7 and now the pixel 8, if I were to lose any of these and be offered the pixel 6a for 299 again? I'd buy it no questions asked. There's a year and a half of OS support and at least 3 years of security updates. Being real on the end of OS support. It's not a big deal. I was using a device running Android 10 for over a month until I got my pixel 8 and I was fine.
I traded in my 3a and got the 6a for $150 + free pixel buds. Best phone ive ever had however i do wish battery life was better like with the 3a XL and heating issues have resolved since android 14 update. Will probably upgrade to pixel 9 pro if they make a ~6.3 inch version and next gen finger print sensor. The larger sensors will def help in low light video
@@ki11atj49 Sure i'll give you that, the performance, the speed and smoothness is on point but the only big issue is, it heats up instantly after using it for like 5-10 minutes. I had two, one was from factory and the other was from metropcs and both had that issue
@@Quottidomin13 My pixel 6A that I use everyday has never had that problem and I've heard the issues with it so I was concerned with buying it when it first came out but literally the only times it has a heat problem is rarely when I use it a lot in the heat, when I charge it, and right after a new system update. But other than that I never really notice it even being warm at all. I just wonder if it's certain units or where some people live might be a hotter temperature consistently
@@ki11atj49 doubt it, factory from google's website shouldn't do that, lastest was metropcs which had the same issue, climate doesn't have anything to do unless been outside but like i said for $90 it's fine
That’s why I say it’s a bad phone. I had the option of this phone or the Pixel 6, and a used Pixel 6 costs the same as the Pixel 6a new lol. Even now swappa has the 6 at $159+, while the 6a is $174+. Now the 7a might be a decent buy, but also Pixel 7 used are $280+ lol. But the A series Pixels have always had this issue where a used non A is a better buy than a new Pixel A series.
I think the most wise choice is that they have made most of the public's tech devices friendly within "appearance" of the device for matters of such aggreshion and garbage! So if they have a new tool that does somthing more extream than another person's cell phone, no one will be alarmed because they didn't attach any cheap trastic global dome phycology having one persons device much different than the next! Wait didn't that already happen? Remember that? Hmmmmm
UFS 3.1, LPDDR 5 3200 MHz, 2 x 2.8 GHz Cortex X1, for this price, no debate, and honestly, the cameras are the best in the price range, even compared to more expensive phones
Just upgraged from 6a to 8 i was in love with my 6a but i wanted to see what this 8 was about ima pixel fan to me its a humble hard hitter and lets be real most ppl buy phones for cameras and strolling and its many features on this phone that is dope i like the one that identifies music thats playing around you i love music so i really appreciate that#pixelbidness
Used it for 20 months, Besides the phenomenal camera, I remained underwhelmed by the choppy fingerprint, oversimplified & uncustomizable Google pixel skin & lack of inbuilt app lock option is making me switch now & Nothing phone 2 is my potential alternative.
What you really miss is this phone has the biggest advantage companig to the rest of the phone. Unlocked bootlader. You can install custom Rom, android, lineage anything you want to have your privacy
Pixel 6a is not for heavy data games like PUBG and Genshin Impact. It will used up more than 20gb in your storage. It will slow down phone perfomance and is prone to overheating if you play long heavy games on it. It is more of a phone that is for watching youtube videos, web search etc. like a simple phone for use if you want to last for a whole day. It is a fast flagship processor for a phone when you scroll down and loading apps. 60hz is not noticiable for me as I only use this phone for simple purpose. The battery is decent if you use it for youtube and web browsing etc. The 6gb is able to multitask many apps without clearing the other apps and is more than enough. I am using this phone for nearly 8 months now and I dont see any problems with battery as i only use it for simple reasons. Its basically a simple phone that can do more than enough and is able to compare with Samsung midrange phones A34 & A54 and Apple budget SE 2020 & SE 2022.
This is not bad phone by any means for the price even a 7a is about $400 which blows the SE 2022 out of the water. It may not have wireless charging but I don’t use wireless charging.
All of these features are the same in an iPhone 13 which costs hundreds of dollars more. Idk why you're making such a big deal with a budget phone which literally has a flagship chipset
@@medhaparker9076 in a carrier store, yes. Good phone for a cheap price. But when compared to the Pixel 6, or even now a Pixel 7 in the used market, the 6a becomes pointless.
Ppl seem to swear by this phone was looking at it vs the galaxy a54 only real down side is 60 hrz and skreen is a bit better on the Samsung 😅 not a professional. I think you pretty much get the same chip no matter which one you get as far as the pixel goes
Why did you show wireless charger it hasn't got wireless charging I own this phone it's a really good phone for what it is beats phones out there 10 times the price
Yes it is The camera on this phone is better than phones 10 times its price and it's not only me that agrees on this fact it is other phone reviewers also but agree but you can have your opinion does it mean you're right
Everyone keeps saying that but remember ambient temperature and humidity. The higher the numbers, the more it’ll affect the phone. Getting warm is normal, overheating is not. And overheating is when the phone shuts off, not when it’s just warm

i went from honor 9 lte to pixel 6a.. very fast phone, but a lot of bugs in chrome browser.. for a google phone? also good camera, but after 1 year i sold it because a very mediocore battery.. as a car gps it gets very hot, so hot, that in summer, it shuts down because the phone gives a notice of overheat... never again
Phones have become powerbank and to charge them they use 200watt chargers. Soon phones will become like heavy appliance and will need 15/16amp electrical socket😂 I rather stick to 18w max charging.
@@jeomirit my 6a heats up when I use it for very long time. But after a couple of updates, the heating stopped fortunately. Now, I can use my 6a for a couple more hours without heating issues.

Lmfao whats wrong when with 60hertz? Still smooth wnd fast as im using the pixel 6A right now and honestly this phone i can easily compare it to my old s20+ but the pixel 6A just might be a little better and still better than any sorry iPhone
