Got a bit late uploading this one - These phones are pretty special and I wanted to make sure iI did them justice! To see me unbox every Nintendo Home Console EVER (Probably my Favourite video): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vtvFVH9JdNI.html
Man, perhaps an unpopular opinion but I like the small border around the screen. I hate accidentally tapping on something I didn't mean to which is super easy to do when the screen covers the whole area
Same here. I had a Huawei P30 Pro, which has a curved screen, and I find that when I am watching RU-vid videos, some part of my hand would accidentally touch it and fast forward the video because the screen recognized it as a tap. Curved screens Benefits: looks more premium (more of a stylistic preference), makes the bezels look smaller, makes gestures more comfortable. Downsides: harder to protect to cases and especially screen protectors, easier to accidentally trigger. Flat screens Benefits: Easier to protect with screen protector and cases, harder to accidentally trigger. Downsides: Gestures may feel less comfortable, perhaps less premium (more or a stylistic preference)
This may not be considered a "software issue" but it's quite annoying that unlimited backup for your photos is now a thing of the past with the evolution of the Pixel timeline. It'd be nice if Google brought that back. Edit: 6K? Talk about relatable! Glad I'm definitely not the only one who missed this feature! Thank you! 😀
This was a pure joy to watch! Thanks for constantly raising the bar with so many creative visual touches. Your presentation quality puts major tech sites to absolute shame.
I love mrwhostheboss but this video is clearly an advert. Even saying that 700k on antutu is something but poco f3 for 350€ and being old phone gets 690k in antutu.
@@mindaugask5325 I mean he's far from the only professional who posted a glowing review today. Anyway, focusing on the Tensor G2's synthetic benchmark scores almost totally misses the point of the phone. That's basically the last thing Google is prioritizing.
I thought he was being sarcastic at first. But he kept on going till the end. Apart from the annoying speed up of the video that I've seen before, this has to be the worst review he's ever done. I guess it will be my last.
Absolutely agree! I have watched so many pixel videos so far now & this man always gets me to the end, be it any video, even after knowing each & every detail of the product.
@@mindaugask5325 well, I mean google never really pushing their limit on the HW sector. They always play on SW. So, that's why the performance is mediocre. But, the F3 even though it only cost $349 in early 2021 it doesn't really give me a great overall experience in software especially until up to this day.
Have to say, the phone catches do not go unnoticed. I really like the way your videos are done. I hope the team sees the appreciation they deserve in the comments!
I love this review style. All reviews should be like this. Fun, honest, the good and the not so good but legit and to the point with constructive feedback if Google are watching. Keep up the great work.
Having jumped from Pixel 3a to Pixel 7 Pro. Its absolutely astonishing how far Google has come. The animations, no bugs noticed yet, great battery life as well and the display is so nicely calibrated that its just amazing to look at. Even at night I feel no strain on my eyes after long use. Perfect cameras for me which I barely use. If I had chosen to get the 14 Pro Max, I would have had to spend $800 more here in Australia. So, the phone absolutely makes sense. I dont need to talk about the smart features which I thought aren't useful but are amazingly useful. Only thing I miss is the unlimited photo storage in Google photos. :( Hope Google continues with the butter smooth software experience. :)
I think Arun's review is more straight to the point and significant to MKBHD's. Each point Arun pointed out are more easier to remember, you can feel he truly used the phone extensively👏🏻
Been waiting for this one and it was definitely worth waiting for. I swear your videos have everything bro; humour, action, and the gold-worthy content itself, just something you need on a beautiful Wednesday evening. I've always been an Android lover, this has only reinforced that narrative and I have your video to thank for it because you simply made everything cool about the new Pixels come to life (and possibly made them even cooler). Great video once again Arun, you never fail to brighten up one's day and the RU-vid space is grateful for people like you and the rest of your team.
Ever since i found his channel, every one of his videos even if it doesn't really pertain to what I'm interested in, has always had me hooked until the end.
Started researching a new Android phone this weekend and am seriously impressed with this review. So so much better than the many other's I've watched. Actual data and side by side comparisons?! Amazing. And I understood everything you said! Thanks so much from a new subcriber!!
The production value of this channel is so Goodgle! 🤣 But on topic, it is nice to see Google making strides with their Pixel phones. People tend to forget this, but the more balanced competition the space gets, the better products we as consumers will get from these companies. We need solid, healthy competition so these companies don't get complacent with each generation. So this is a relief to see that the Pixel 7 is getting solid all around feedback.
P7pro is awesome. Only issue I came across was transferring documents and contacts. The pixel 7 pro had the contacts saved, but somewhere along the line after a restart or two, forgot them. I did a restore through the contacts app and now the phone remembers the contacts. Stellar user experience!
I have no intention of buying the google pixel but I still love watching your reviews for them. However I’m glad the pixel is becoming their consistent focus. It’s cool to see how they keep improving.
Me 2, and to be honest I watch anything he does as he just gets straight to the point and doesn't ramble on about pointless stuff, and apologies if this comment comes on twice as i was editing it and then checked and it was gone, but if you are considering getting a new phone that was only £190 when i bought it, but is now £139, is the TCL 10 PRO, here are some of the specs, it has a curved OLED 4K screen, in screen finger print reader, 4500mah battery that easily lasts all day, quick charge, had a 64 mega pixel camera, its completely flat so never moves or wobbles when the phone is on the table or wherever, is a little bit thinner like the xperias so nice and grippy and easy to hold, has a button you can use to take photos like the xperia instead of the screen, which obviously can also be used, but i hardly ever take pictures, but my main selling point as I'm a musician is, it has built in high res audio, and while I'm using my high res audio headphones, the sound quality is one of the best experiences I've ever used on a phone, it's a brand I'd never heard of, the price is GOOD,,, it had all sorts of other wonderful specs , you only have to read amazon reviews and actually reviews on RU-vid which i usually don't believe , ill be buying another one as a spare, its really is one of the best phones I've ever had, I'm 34, so, yeah, I've had quite a few, so yeah you get the point,, it's REALLY REALLY GOOD,, so yeah if anyone reads this and you are considering getting a new phone, I really really would consider checking out the TCL 10 PRO,,, its absolutely superb,!!!!
That's because you don't have all the information. If you knew what you were talking about, your next phone would be a P7. Pixel devices can be rooted to run a version of Android known as GrapheneOS which might be your last and ONLY shot at protecting your privacy and anonymity online. I guess that ignorance is bliss...
@@MrJBA79 no matter what you do, your information can be found on anything about you on any OS. Running some 3rd party OS doesn’t mean you are just a ghost on the internet. If you think for even a second that it does than you are just spoon feeding your own information as fact
I wasn't expecting this video to come out today because I saw your tweet saying you were going to take some extra time to do it right. Huge props on actually finishing the video 🙌🏾
The problem for me with Pixel phones is that they aren’t officially available on as many markets as other competitors. For example in Finland they aren’t officially launched, so buying them is more sketchy regarding waranty and some of the smart features don’t work here.
They are also currently not available in the Philippines, which is annoying because I fell in love with the google pixels ever since i found out their existence.
I was seriously considering the P6Pro before I settled on my S22+ but this time around, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what the battery life is like on the P7Pro and how the updates improve the experience, seriously looking at trading in it. We might finally get parity with the iPhone 13 and 14 phones on Android. Exciting times.
I honestly wouldn't switch from Samsung to pixel. The only reason im even considering the pixel 7 is cuz i already have the pixel 5. Google software IS incredible at times but i feel like theres always small bugs
I have a Pixel 6 Pro and am planning to keep using it for at least 2 years. I love it. But maybe my biggest gripe with Android, Pixel 7 series included, is the size. Why do I have to choose between a comfortable size and a premium phone? For me, the addition of the zoom camera on the 6 Pro outweighed the nice size of the base 6, but I wish there could be a Pixel with both. I love how the iPhone does it with the Pro and the Pro Max, giving everyone an option.
Jesus Christ is the propitiation for the whole world's sins. They that believeth and are baptized (with the Holy Spirit) shall be saved; but they that believeth not shall be damned. Those led by the Holy Spirit do not abide in wickedness. *God is ONE manifesting himself as THREE;* the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Bless him! *For these three are one.* As I am led by the Holy Spirit, nothing I state is a lie, but the truth of God. Anyone who tells you differently is misinformed or a liar. They do not know God, nor led by him. Anyone who *claims* to be a Christian and is against what I am doing, and where I am doing it; the Holy Spirit does not dwell within them, they lack understanding. They know not God, read his word, and their religion is in vain. Do not hear them, they will mislead you, the lost cannot guide the lost.
When you trust in God and cast your cares (worries, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts) upon him, they will be NO MORE! Know that there is power in the name Jesus Christ! His name casts out demons and heals! The world is wicked, evil, and of the devil. I too, was a wicked sinner of the world before I opened my heart to God. I am living proof of God's work and fruitfulness! He is an active God who hears the prayers of his! God's children are set apart (holy) and righteous. The devil is a liar that comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy; that includes your relationship with God! Open your heart to God, repent of your sins (he will forgive you), and let him direct your path. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands and purify your heart, lest you walk with the devil and follow him to hell.
A month later and here I am again, the new Pixel 7 Pro looks to be an Android lover's dream man. Hey Arun, quick question, you usually make Camera tests when smartphone companies release their latest flagships, why haven't you done one with the Pixel 7 Pro yet? Your camera comparison videos are the best out here and I literally enjoy every minute, even when you side with the phone I find least favourable on one or two categories. Anyway, would be really excited to hear what you think, esepcially after you voted the Pixel 7 Pro the best smartphone of the year (couldn't have been more right btw) in your last video.
I have an unlocked North American Pixel 7 pro; a GREAT phone; BUT BUYER BEWARE. Google perhaps stupidly or in a self-defeating manner, blocks 5G connections to much of Europe and Asia. If you are a mobile warrior or professional who travels often.... AVOID this phone as well until Google addresses this outrageous issue. My friends with Iphones and Samsungs do not face the same issues.
Love this review, I got the Pixel 6 and will be upgrading to the Pixel 7. Love to see that they improved the fingerprint specifically. The Pixel 6 was a hit or miss sometimes.
@@JS96919 if you love tech, it's worth it. Some people spend half of that on shoes they never wear. We spend it on things we use the whole day every day
@Daniel Pacheco it’s so tough honestly, but the pixel is so smart it’s mind blowing. And if you do any amount of voice dictation, it’s a night and day comparison.
I've been waiting for this video! Your views on this have definitely helped me understand more and clear some essential doubts I had about the Pixel 7 Pro! Thanks Arun!
I make it a point to see your videos when I'm free just so I don't rush watching the video. Because there's so much information being shared and it's always super useful for all types of end users. That apart, the production values and your enthusiasm every time are so brilliant to watch. Thank you and best wishes always ❤️👍🏽
You gotta give credit to google. The pixel has come a far way. Yes they've had their ups and downs but to go against big guys like Samsung and apple in phone manufacturing is no walk in the park. Right now I'm using the pixel 2 and I'm impressed that Google got it this good on their second phone. Looking forward to getting the newest pixel in the future once my current phone is done
I am so glad seeing Google getting closer to the competition. I have the Google pixel 6 pro, and I am just loving it and I got blown away by how good the cameras actually are.
@@arijityt8820 the fact that you still based a phone speed to a benchmark in 2022 shows how little you know about phones. Go watch real speed tests, is 95% as fast as the iphone.
@@adyady3099 no Android phone even the Rog 6 can't beat iPhone in gaming...the kind of consistency in providing 90fps in cod mobile or pubg, low touch latency the iPhone provides is unmatched... I just put out an antutu reference as for an instance for the common public, I'm not obviously explaining how the iPhone kills faster than Android even when u touch the both display at the same time ..
@@MrCode91 I think pixel 7pro costs 900$...and I can get the iphone14 pro at the same price and enjoy cod mobile in consistent 90fps thus using iPhone a15 bionic to it's full potential...
Hey! There's often another issue overlooked by reviewers. It is its 5G and 4G connectivity. Google has actually artificially blocked the phone from connecting 5G networks abroad, in countries they say they don't support. We know this because a simple root and module/patch actually allows the phone to connect to all 5G networks globally. Its not a big deal if you do not do much travelling, but if you travel a lot and do a lot of sim swapping, it becomes extremely problematic. All pixel phones have an artificial block like this.
@@murk959 Yep if you care about fill 4g functionality and 5g, allthough they added a few more countries to the support list but it still pretty limited.
Since Google announced the Pixel 7 series they really catched my attention thanks to all the improvements they've done comparing them to the Pixel 6 series, after this video I even like them more than before, thank you! 💜
still the same crappy tensor, in 2023 this crap 5nm samsung soc will feel so inefficient..with new dimensity and snapdragon builded with the 10x better tsmc finfet
Came here to check out my new phone before it came, and I ended up subscribing. I seriously had fun watching - look forward to catching more content! Great video!
Thank you so much for deeply analysing the regular pixel 7 along with the pro, as that's phone I'm considering buying. It also provides a solid opinion for those who might not be willing to spend the £250 extra
@@thecoolguy9364 They release the "a" variant a few months before the next Pixel phone line. The Pixel 7a should be out sometime next spring/summer, just like the Pixel 6a only came out back in May.
I bought the Pixel7, and I agree with this review. I can't contribute with much other than my experience with phones since they came to market. This is hands down the best phone I have ever laid my hands on. Fast, sleek and it just works. No issues with anything. Paying with the wallet is a pleasure. It reacts immediately. The camera is great and ... just buy it if you have the chance and need to replace your old one. the 7 version is plenty for most. No need for the bigger one.
Very good review. I have a Pixel 6Pro and originally had no intentions of going with the 7, but it looks like the camera improvements might warrant it.
I like how the thermal throttling is significantly improved compared to the pixel 6. My p6 would play genshin smoothly at first but the framerate drops a lot when it's hot
Its really good that someone covered the 7 with as much depth as 7 Pro coz often the pro models end up with 95% of the coverage bt 80% of common users usually consider the non pro version due to price & value equation.
I bought the pixel 6 last year and absolutely loved it but was disappointed slightly with the battery life. Good to hear the pixel 7 has a decent battery!
Watching this on my pixel 7 pro and you made me realise little features that I haven't even able to quantify as to why I feel the experience of using it is so buttery smooth. And you nailed it perfectly. I had the P30 pro this it had big shoes to fill, and it filled them really well.
@@Beefpatty_ same as you and the other guy above! P30 pro and not sure if I should buy a Pixel 7. The battery on my p30 is not as good as it was in 2019, I need a phone with a better battery, but I don't want to lose the good features this phone has.
I've been waiting for this video for SO LONG, and it's just as I expected - top tier, top quality content! Can't wait for a Pixel 7 Pro vs iPhone 14 Pro (Max I suppose) camera comparison!
Seeing this I cannot wait for a Pixel Fold. I love my Z Fold 4 but imagine google's software and camera's in the foldable formfactor. It would be quite interesting to see what they can do!
I still have a Pixel 2xl as a backup phone to my Note 10 Plus. The 2XL is a Hall of Fame phone to me. Everything feels so easy to access and everything works the way it should due to it being stock Android. Pics were great and still are great. You can actually use the features on this thing for everyday life. Gifs creation, deep customization, and snapping pics from my Spen are the main reasons I have a note. I can live though
i have a note 10 plus for the last 3+ years as well. The back panel glue has now started to come off. But its still going good. Its a pity i will have to upgrade as MS office from my organisation will not be suppprted on this phone post a few months.
Pixel 2 XL user here! Still works absolutely amazing... I have absolutely zero reason to upgrade. Sure, a better camera would be nice, but as you say, the pics are still awesome. Everything else is minor to me in terms of upgrades... even after 5 years of Pixel Generations... sure, more ram, brighter screen etc? Who cares.. my Pixel 2 XL still shines bright, speedy as fuck.. an extra millisecond is not worth the upgrade.
Great video, really easy to follow, great pace, techy-speak level just right and relevant. Think I’m finally convinced it’s time to let go of my iPhone 8plus and treat myself to a new Google Pixel. Thank you for helping convince me to take the plunge and make the switch to Google from Apple…
This guy's videos take slickness to the next level. I appreciate all the hard work that must go into producing content of such quality. Truly inspiring. Bravo!
Besides general decent performance, how good the camera is is usually how I decide on my next phone but the size of the phone can be the one deal breaker. I love the size of my pixel 4A will be sad the day that I have to replace it.
I think it is clear to see why this dude has grown so much on YT. Enthusiastic presentation, good production quality, entertaining to watch, well spoken. Good points addressed during product testing. Just overall really clean man. Good stuff!
@@adnan-khan if you see this kind of comments, it's because these guys are brainwashed to crazy levels to hate on Muslims. That's why when he saw Khan in your name, it triggered him.
Strongly considering a pixel 7 pro to replace my oneplus 6. Oneplus 10 series seems kinda mid and i've always wanted a nexus/pixel for the software experience.
I'm in the same position haha and agree, except I have a one plus 7 pro. With the Christmas sales going on right now, it seems like this is a very good pickup! I'll probably get it.
Gotta agree with you buddy, but if this abt camera then i will choose huawei mate 50 pro, and mate 50 pro photo and video is better than iphone and google phone itself
Same here, I have a OnePlus 6T and I previously owned a Nexus 5. I really like the stock android. I think I'll pass for this year though and wait for pixel 8. A fingerprint sensor on the power button, the alerts slider from one plus, not the one from iPhones and a display size near to 6" rather than 7" would make the perfect phone for me.
Got mine up and running this weekend. It's been nice so far, although I've noticed a lighter touch is needed when scrolling web pages or it will select copy when you don't want it to.
10:40 I think 1080p more than enough for normal user or who is making RU-vid videos. pixel 7 will be bought buy normal not Pro users and normal users don't use 4k it's so much space consuming, if u really want 4k video buy the pro max. I think reviewers must see the phone from the people's eyes on whom it's centred to, the pixel 7 is centred on normal users not pros. I think pixel 7 is a great phone and at a very good price.
Very impressive with the catching and throwing of the pixel 6 phone 😂 really well done, and would love to know how many takes that took? Haha other than that, I've been waiting for Google to release a good-gle pixel phone since the pixel 2 XL, for me they hadn't won me over for some time until now... I have the Samsung s21 ultra and usually change my phone's every 2 years. I've wanted to go back to pixel for so long but couldn't justify it, the s21 ultra is still a great phone but I'm tempted by the pixel 7 Pro especially the price compared to how much I spent on my s21 ultra 512gb 🤮 (bought outright🤮🤮🤮🤮)
I really need a new phone, and I was going back and forth about whenever or not I should commit to a Google Pixel. I immediately went to get myself a 7 pro after this video let's see how it goes
One of the best Pixel features is also auto call answering, where it talks to them instead. Scammers absolutely hate it. I eventually stop getting scam calls, so they must put you on a blacklist or something.
Please Arun Do Unboxing and review Of Motorola edge 30 Ultra it's a nice phone from Motorola . Btw i love your Content And video style So much 😁❤️ Thanks.
I’m partially sighted out which would will be better for the pixel 7 or Samsung s22ultra. I have autism I struggle with background noise. I struggle with my iPhone XR for text to speech and the dictation of texts the camera is crap as well.
The notification pull down pisses me off. I come from a OnePlus 6t that has 6 quick buttons, the brightness slider and a smaller notifications pop ups when you initially pull it down, then I'd you pull it down more it displays all the options and covers the screen... In comparison you pull the notification tab down on the pixel 7 and it covers the entire screen and only has 4 options with no brightness slider... Wtf? Why so much wasted space when you can cram so much in so much less and make it look nice before? I don't understand. I had to use a different launcher because I can't get rid of the "feature" of the Google search on the home page.. it's a complete damn waste of space and it's annoying, I'll never use it so give me an option to get rid of it.
MrWhoseTheBoss, one of the most entertaining RU-vidrs that show off/compares phones, the editing, background, everything. Good Job. Deserves Wayyyyyyyy more
I feel like arun is so happy that Androids cams are catching up with iphone in terms of video also and ngl bro i am an all timer android only, currently rocking the p6, purchased it 6 months after the release so didn't really come across much bugs and love this phone. Will prolly switch to a p9 once the software upgrade limitations kick in.
@@ItsMinarmy I like it as well. Yes the last year's pixel looked better but the hazel colour on this one is great and this design is more practical. Pixel still stands out..and doesn't look ugly at all..
As always, a top notch review. I bought the pro for it's zoom ability and size. Question at 1:17, what is the game you playing? Keep up the great work and production values. They are appreciated.
