On ebay this can be found for $320 unlocked ...at that price the camera and flagship grade processor ingress protection wireless charging it is definitely worth it
this phone as of today 2/13/24 is $374 at google and best buy. just bought one from best buy today after my pixel 6 pro screen broke and it would've cost about 200 bucks to get an aftermarket screen replacement. decided to just buy this. no complaints so far but it's taking some getting used to for me having to go back to a smaller screen and slightly less power under the hood.
It is currently £329 on the UK Google website, so i had to buy one. I am also getting £50 back for trading in a very old Pixel 3, making this an excellent deal. If you want a phone that has it all, for a very good price, now is the time to buy.
@@blyatberry7036 you can tell it's not a premium set with the materials used and the quality of the screen (I had an S22 Ultra before), but that's actually a good thing I think, I don't have to worry about the back panel smashing for example. Camera is great of course - I have small children and taking clear shots of them used to be a challenge, but the Google camera is very good at correcting. My signal strength is better (no idea why). 90hz is perfectly enough, although of course you can't beat a Samsung screen. Battery life is fantastic, and the phone overall is very snappy, I haven't had a single bug. I also like the adaptive charging, I put my phone on at night and it knows when to be full to preserve battery health - time will tell. Honestly you get so much for the price, you can't really justify asking for £1000+ for a phone.
Yep, it's weird. It's £299 on Google and Argos. Giff Gaff were even doing it for £269, although they've now bumped it back up to £399. They're also selling the 8 _and_ 8a for the same price. It's worth shopping around! 😉😉
Battery still drains fast and takes forever to charge, not only that the screen brightness has to be turned all the way up outdoors just to see your screen clearly which drains your battery even faster 😢
For me the Pixel 7a is the WORST PHONE EVER. It constantly crashes or lags, the touch screen often doesn't respond or is very slow. The call quality and network connection is terrible, its a small phone, so small screen size, so smaller keyboard which makes typing more difficult (smaller size can be a positive or negative depending on your point of view). The battery life is miserable, the charging is slow, as in 2010 standards slow. This morning it took 40mins to charge 20%. That was with a cable "fast charging", slow charge gives about 9% in 30mins, wireless charging is even slower (something like 8w) so pretty much pointless. I moved to this phone from a OnePlus 8t which is now about 3 years old and cost the same. It smashes the Pixel 7a in everyway. The only positive and I mean ONLY positive this phone has is the camera. Seriously consider buying another phone, because this one is sub par.
The phone sucks in my opinion the screen brightness has to be turned all the way up outdoors just to see your screen clearly which drains your battery even faster and it also takes forever to charge its ridiculous, complete deal breaker for me.Worse phone i ever purchased.
@@MusicNotes2024 I charge mine in the night using adaptive charging so it doesn't really bother me at all. I get 9-10 SOT on mine so I charge it every 2 days.
