Well I have the pixel 6 for about a year and I'm listening now to the videos and other people's experiences. I'm trying to go to pro edition but the doubt is 7 pro or 8 pro, the price is important and I wish that the black Friday does its charm... What do you think, wait a little more and go to the 8 pro or the 7 pro will be the best cost benefit...

Not upgrading my 7 pro because, what's $200 dollars difference? Spend more for the same phone, that crazy and money wasted. You actually upgrading because it's a 8 pro than 6 months later 9 pro etc. come on man.

It's the same thing I think. The new features do not justify the change from 7 pro to 8 pro. Maybe I will change later but because I am not a big fan of the curved screen and because 128GB is falling short for me.

I usually go for the latest Pixel (Pro variant) every year. This is the first time however I've decided not to. Just didn't see enough tangible changes - would've felt like same phone twice.

Oh turn off your haptic & vibration then try your finger print scanner.. you will see a very big difference when you use it. On the 7pro and the 8pro

I'm keeping my 7 pro until it breaks. I have the unlocked model and have experience flashing custom roms. Roms are generally faster than stock.

It's not "better face unlock", it's just using an autofocus on the front camera with a new set of apis but it's always a 2d recognition, works crap in lowlight and it's years behind Apple face id.

Yeah, the slight resolution drop confused me too. It's not as annoying to me as Samsung's Tab S8+/S9+ and S8/S9 Ultra being two pixels off from being exactly 16:10, though.

It's definitely an upgrade tho. The screen alone is more than a bump. And the real difference is in the 8 Pro screen is PREMIUM. The 7 Pro has an off axis blue shift. The flat panel doesn't have that cheapened feel to it. Ltpo panel that goes all the way down to 1 Hertz, and i can finally see the screen content when out in the sun. Face unlock works with you Bank apps where the 7 Pro can't because it's ai meets the security requirements to do so. It's the only android phone that can now. If your 7 Pro works and your happy with it, keep it. But there are definitely good updates and upgrades that set it apart.
