So what... I had a Z-Fold 5 and NEVER used the third window option. that is a show-off-feature. But everybody has to decide by himself if needed

Although Samsung pioneered foldables and succeeded in the market despite people making fun of them that foldables suck if we go forward to the z-fold 3 and continue from there to the z-fold six what major changes have they done to the phone besides swapping to a 50 megapixel sensor and working on the hinge. So the phone can close flat. Other than that, they have no the design for a long time. And yes, they are the king of software and one UI on top of Android offers you the best multitasking capabilities and it allows you to do it what you mentioned in your comment, but have you asked yourself how many people want a regular size cover display in the front because that 1 mm of extra screen real estate is nothing. I personally financed and unlocked pixel 9 Pro fold to pay it off and have put my z fold 6 in its box. Until I'm able to upgrade through T-Mobile, give this phone call. Family member and until samsung makes a foldable that's appealing and stops, milking the same design and works on the mediocre camera sensors that can't even offer you 5 times optical zoom, like Google or give a proper cover display. Then I won't be returning to Samsung. In the meantime. Because Google, even though people are not that satisfied with their design It's giving a proper cover display, and that was enough to make me pick up the phone and hide my fold 6 Until I can do my jump upgrade

Great video & comparison between the two! Switched from a Z Fold 5 to the Pixel Fold 2 & I am really enjoying it. The main reason I switched was due to the useability of the front screen, it is just so nice to send a text or do some quick browsing on it.

​@@MTGProductions I'm responding on it! I've had it for over a week now. It made me return the z-fold 6! The battery is crazy...I took a screen shot because I couldn't believe it! It averages well over 8+ hrs of screen time. One day I got 9hr41min with 21% remaining. Much better overall, and I've owned Sammy's for over 10 years: 2 flips, 2 folds, 2 Notes, and several S series! I do like the zf6's photo Ai editing better, but that's about it! Finally, I ordered mine from Wonda Mobile in Hong Kong (global version), and it arrived in 2 days! Runs perfect on att (Texas); hotspot and wireless droid auto are all good!

The side bezel adds unnecessary width to the phone. Why didn't they just put a wider screen and reduce the bezel like Samsung. The OnePlus Open is still the superior design.

@@Howie_fish Yes, the pixel 9 fold is noticeably smoother than the z fold 6. The z fold 5 is currently just as smooth as the pixel devices but Samsung has somehow gone backwards and made the z fold. 6. Noticeably choppy with scrolling and with UI animations. Also with the z fold. 6. Scrolling performance is noticeably worse on the cover display than on the main display for whatever reason. And don't ask me how I notice all these things. I really wish I didn't smh. But for now on, I'm sticking with pixel because I know that they prioritize fluidity in the UI and scrolling. Seems like Samsung just not paying attention or something. Not really sure what's going on over there.

@@defi_ramsay Pixels are not fluid, it's just the back to Home gesture that is fluid on Pixels, in applications and especially in vertical scrolling, they are jerky.

Because that camera is specifically for video calls only and not for taking images. It has been a feature on the last 4 versions of the Z Fold and has been talked about for years so at this point it's an extremely well known fact. If you are new to foldables then I fully understand this would not be the case for you. It's for Work calls on Zoom and Teams. If you want a proper selfie you is the rear cameras which give you better selfies than a candybar phone can.

The cover screen mirrors the inside screens, whereas in Z Folds, they act like two different phones. 2. The OnePlus Open doesn't have a 5x telephoto for those DSLR-like portraits. 3. Despite OnePlus advertising a peak brightness of 2800 nits, it never hits these numbers even under direct sunlight. 4. It doesn't have the Dex feature, which I use very frequently. 5. The resale and trade-in values for OnePlus phones are very low in the US if I want to upgrade in the future, while Samsung is currently offering $1300 for my ZF5. 6. Nit-picky, but it doesn't have an IPX8 water rating and lacks the wireless charging option. 7. Lastly, this is subjective, but I personally don't like the aesthetics of the Oxygen OS. What are your thoughts on this?
