One of the BEST reviews I have watched because it is so thorough and covers all the important aspects of all three Pixel 9 models. Great job. Keep up the good work 👍🏻💪🏻💯
@@Lt.Shineysides89 android fanboys seethe when thinking about any positives of iPhones and iPhone fanboys seethe when thinking about any positives of android. Both just want to pick a side and keep fighting.
I am absolutely delighted with the 9 pro version! Finally Compact version which has everything I wished for from the Compact phone.😅 I am especially delighted with the 42mp front camera. Huge difference when making a video call in low light conditions! I would advise everyone to give a little bit more money and take the pro version. In addition, I believe that the difference in the rear camera is not negligible either, because the 5x optical zoom is a great advantage compared to the "ordinary" Google 9 . I am 100% sure this will be my next phone 😊 .
Thanks for mentioning no UWB on Pixel 9 base model. Ive watched about a dozen reviews on these phones and you're the only person I've noticed who highlighted it.
Love your reviews, I’ve pre ordered the pixel 9 pro, so I’m looking forward to your unboxing & full review on it, from what you’ve said so far it looks to be a great phone. Cheers
@@jorge7246 the phone I'm replacing is the OnePlus 7T, so it was a really big improvement for me. The build quality is amazing. Feels good and solid in the hand. Very premium. Camera quality is a very big upgrade than what I had before. Performance wise, it's more than what I need for using social media and work everyday. I don't play games on my phone. Based on my use case, I didn't experience any overheating or sluggish in using the phone. Battery wise, so far I can get enough use throughout the whole day. In terms of AI, I think the only feature that I find useful is the magic editor. I went out to take some pictures, I find the magic editor is a really useful and easy to use tool for me to make some edits such as the removal of crowds or objects etc. Other than that, the other AI features were ok, nothing game changing tbh. Overall, it was a really good upgrade for my case. Really enjoying my experience with the Pixel 9.
I agree. It's sad that the colors are limited depending on the model. But at least the cases for the regular pixel 9 can be use also for pixel 9 pro (non-XL) since they have similar dimensions and button placements. So you can get the winter green case and apply it on the 9 pro (non-XL).
Same it's my first ever pixel! didn't like the S24 series so i returned it and i'm now coming from my iphone 13 pro to the pixel pro xl in rose quartz 😊
google design team dont understand that polish/chrome metal is just not the way to go... after 4 iterations, they still stubbornly stick to polished metal.... im sure they use these phones too, have they never observed how easy the polished metal scuffs or how greasy it can get after using the phone for a bit?... gosh.
How much GB did you go for? Also, if I were to get the 9, so you think it's better to go for the pro when you're already paying that much? Average cell user here but I want something solid for the next 2 years. Thanks 🙏🏻
@@Kn1ghtMan Doesn't matter if normal 9 or pro or xl, they will definitely all last for only 2 years. Just get the pro variants if you want better camera tech / slightly better performance
It's in front of models like the Pixel 9 XL or Samsung Ultra phones that I thank the lord for being 6ft tall and having hands. I can handle them without that much of a hassle, and by God, I love big phones. However, I really appreciate a small pro model. I know a lot of my friends run away from amazing phones just because of the sizes.
I've ordered the 9 pro. To be honest I would have went with the XL only my current Samsung is 6.6 screen and I find it tricky to use one handed so the screen size was actually a big point for me to consider every phone I've ever got the screen has got bigger until now
I would also consider the phone dimensions and not just the screen size. The overall size may be the same as your old phone, but the screen may be bigger on the 9 pro xl. How do like the 9 pro? If you had to order again would you go with the 9 pro or xl?
Just got mine today, with the official google case. Phone seems nice but haven't really used it much yet, but I'm returning the Pixel case. It looks really nice, but it is very slippery to hold, I'm more likely to drop the phone or let it slip out of my hand with the case on rather than without it. Google really needs to put some texture or ridges on the sides of their official cases. Spigen case...I'll be back to getting one of them instead, even though I don't like the colors they offer.
these are not great to take bad performing exynos 2400 10 core , remove 2 of this cores and call it G5. and you are right to wait exynos are very horrible hardware, this hardware match what you find in
@@ja195 True. I guess it’s one of the reasons I appreciate this video. Even though I know the 9 Pro is just a small 9 Pro XL. But sometimes it’s nice to see certain nuances that aren’t popular to the world but important to me.
Finally now all the good real reviews of the Pixel will be rolling in so now I can make my decision on the Pro XL, Google fold, or Samsung flip 6. I've been holding off on pulling the trigger just to see the comparisons.
I actually ordered the pixel 9 winter green vs. The pro and xl because it just look amazing feels amazing i have the fold 6 but i just couldn't resist to order that winter green
Mr. Tech Spurt . I like how you do your videos out of all the contents out there it's more realistic and have always agreed with you on the IR blaster but as detailed as you are I haven't heard you mention anything about how dark Google phones get in really dark environments as a bedroom without lights at night but I would like to please know how dark it gets in pitch black darkness if it the same as all it's predecessors so dark that you can't see the word well or if it remains legible as an iPhone or Galaxy does , now that is without a reading glasses. I know a lot of people will like to know since I see it as an issue with a lot of people in online blogs and no reviewers mentions anything about it . I have gotten rid of all my Pixels because of that in favor of a Galaxy bu would rather a Pixel . So what are the results ?
Is there any difference between the cameras on the pixel 9 pro and pro xl? I saw someone say that was the case but I'm not sure I've seen anyone confirm that
Ottima recensione, grazie. Grazie.
Pixel 9 pro for me as i wanted the tele photo zoom and i just think that the pixel 9 pro is a perfect size of screen and now has a good shape to it too. My Pixel 7 pro was too wide to hold in hand
I'm really okay with Pixel 9. However im more curious if there are any difference when it comes to portraits? ( I don't really care much about the Telephoto camera as i usually dont zoom soo much. Im just curious about general photos and Portraits )
I have pre ordered the 9 pro to replace my pixel 5. I am not a fan of the larger size phones and delighted to be getting one with the same features as the XL without people think i am getting excited with a huge bulge in my pocket.
Are the Pixel 9/9Pro really worth US$300/$500 more than the Pixel 8a? Yeah, some updated features on the new phones but will the 8a + some cash in the handbag make for a happier me?
Is the alarm clock turning on the phone and is ringing when the phones off? I had a xiaomi mi 9t once and have missed the feature on my samsung s21+ ever since.
Big G is killing everything thatt makes pixels unique design wise. First they ditched the sharp corners, now its the rounded sides and the visor. Just release an android iphone and get over with it!
Probably from Wallpaper Abyss. He's mentioned it a few times before so I'm guessing it's still from there. I get all my anime wallpapers from there now
They do look like lovely phones. I do not think I can afford them though as I am still waiting for my pixel 8 to be fixed by google following a software update last week. It completely froze on me afterwards and can’t get to the phone anymore 😒
No offense Uncle Spurt I love your content but whenever I see AI and Gemini features I just hold ctrl and then press right arrow to move on to the next part!
Was going to get a pixel 9. Until I checked the Samsung site and bagged an S24+ for £420. £200 quid off and £300 trade in for a galaxy s8. Crazy value.
Im getting the pixel 9 pro xl 256 gb for 335 euros with a discount bonus im glad because im really done with samsung after a frustrating 2 and a half years with my s22 ultra no more scamsung for me anytime soon
Are you me?@@troopzaftv0 I am in the exact same boat. Got it for 336 euros, a Hazel 256GB Pro Xl. S22 ultra disappointed, especially in the battery area (exynos here, im assuming you as well), and while it is a good phone it never clicked as much as my OnePlus 7 pro did for me before that. My only other Samsung ever was a Galaxy s8, and that left me with much the same feeling. Some good features, but not the phone for me.
@@MmacentralNl haha we are both s22 ultra victims the worst from everything is that I got a lemon from samsung in my s22u unit it had a maximum of 2.5 hours of SOT and the incompetent repair people samsung uses said the battery was good so i had to get it replaced myself all in all im happy this happened because it blacklisted the brand for the rest of my life from ever buying a phone from there. I even said that I still wont buy a Samsung if they release one with a jetpack function, anyway I dont expect anything like this to happen with this pixel and if it actually works it could make me a pixel user for life im already hyped for the pixel 10 pro with tsmc and because i got the 9 so cheap i can just trade it in when it comes out 👍
Best description every thanks uncle, Google-Samsung chipset. The rubbish Exynos 2400 which Google claims as Tensor G4 😅😅 waste of money and time. Anything with an Exynos chipset is a pure rubbish. Wait and see the countless problems with those rubbish phones, over heating, glitchy, laggy, super slow 🦥 charging and 2 weeks later 4 hrs batter life with normal use 😅 it's a shame that the company who owns the Android OS makes the worse Android phone in the Milky Way Galaxy.
