Not including the part where they mention '7 years of support' is a major omission, longevity of a device is a key feature, especially when Apple has been able to do that for longer now. Do better next time CNET

Apple only offers 7 years of *security* updates. Nobody else offers this level of support (at least in western nations) even the iPhone 15 will be, de facto, obsolete by 2028

It is the first time that an android phone take that longevity of time taking in mind that there are other phones which use Android system romstock with different processors, rams from other companies. Apple has been doing that? Yes, and remember that everytime with every update those phone are getting programmed obsolescence making them more slow and heated just by using the FB app. Also remember the benefit that you can install an APK from a store whatever you want making having you the liberty to choose.

basically, when apple had nothing to show, they showed the same phone with USB-C. Google mocked them in their viral AD, but then showed gimmicky software presentation instead of hardware. It's more like Pixel 6 v.3 and iPhone 12 v.4

Honestly, even if the chip benchmarks lower, the specs beat out apple on several key metrics And who even cares about specs in 2023? usability and features are more important. I have to admit apple's features are great... If you're all in on doing everything "the apple way," entrenching yourself in their walled garden. Apple's "It just works" motto is probably pretty high on the list of biggest lies ever told.

What's funny is that "Best Take" was a Google Photos feature from 10 years ago but it wasn't as refined. Glad to see it's back and perfected. Event was superb in terms of content and innovations but honestly their presentation was not that engaging. Also, when they did not gave clear and detailed statistics of how Tensor G3 perform. Also, Event was overpowered by Software enhancements and AI but very little focus one Hardware of Pixil in detail

Wait wait, didn't he say the pixel watch 2 has been upgraded inside and out. Last time I checked my pixel watch 1 had a stainless steel body not recycled aluminum. What a total let down. Think I'll pass as I should have on the 1st one. If they think aluminum is an upgrade over stainless steel be prepared to be ripped off.

It's worth covering how awful it has been getting Android 14 on Pixel phones on Google Fi. It's almost a week since Android 14 was released but I still can't get it because I have a Pixel 7 pro and Google Fi sim. Yep, that's not a joke, people using Google's phone and Google Fi network are the ones who will get Android 14 the last 😅

i think call quaality was better 10 years ago. two things the signal noise is terrible and the sound doesnt go loud enough. Its pathetic. Its a phone at least get the call quality right. I know most people dont even use it as a phone but I do and i like to hear the person i am talking to.

Trade in value for Pixel 7 (325$) is a slap in the face to current Pixel holders, looks like Google values more the old Iphone phones then last year's pixel models! Google is telling you that pixel are peace of crap and resale value is close to nothing after just one year. Today i've made a choice to sell my super buggy Pixel 7, Iphone- here i come!
