Thank you so much! I have been looking for a tutorial on how to link to dynamic data. This is perfect! Also, being from the PNW originally, it was fun seeing some familiar town names on some of the teachers' tabs. :)

Thank you! I really enjoyed the pacing of this video and I also would like to ask if there is any way that the formatting can also be transferred to the new document. I have some places colored coded and it would be a headache to go back and do it manually to the shared spreadsheet. Can you assist with this?
I keep track of my hours at work, and i have some cells with year to date. Is there a formula were i can add YTD from sheet 1 to new payweek on sheet 2 automatically, and dates aswell?
Will this keep adding new info from another spreadsheet? I have one live sheet that is updated all the time. I need to have the info come over on it's own each time it's looked at. Also I need to have a different sheet for each one of the options in a column. Basically a page of into for each work station(that's listed in a column).
Can you edit the data that contains the importrange function ? In other words a two way back and forth sync between the two spreadsheets. Thanks, good tutorial
A question, what if teacher one was stalking his colleague and went in and edited the reference so that she could see data from unintended tab? How do we go against that?
Well, 2 years later and it still works, so that is awsome! If anyone sees this, is there a way to also import with formatting like cell highlights, alternating colors, etc.?
Any idea how to make it so the information goes onto the next column after you are done typing. Because i am trying to make a form on one sheet that fills another with the inputed info
How can I do this if I already have a 2nd existing spreadsheet that I copy and pasted from the original document but have been updating the original document? I tried the steps in this video and then get the error message "Array result was not expanded because it would overwrite data in B3"
Excellent! I also want to import the data from just one cell (not a range of cells) from one Google Sheet to another. I am trying to use your formula, but keep getting an ERROR message. Don't know what I am doing wrong.
I need help please. I just noticed that I cannot work on my google sheets excel because offline access is enabled for another user. How can I fix this?
Hello Jason, This video finds me quite helpful. Also I want to lock the first three columns of spreadsheet and changes in another sheet can also do change in original change So for this what to do? Which formula will working? Please suggest
Hi! I have message "You don't have permissions to access that spreadsheet." I am bit confused because both files are in the one G Drive folder and it is my G Drive account. Do have any idea how to get "permission"?
I have two Google sheet files. A and B. Whatever I enter in A should come in B and vice versa. That is, they should be synced perfectly. How is it possible?
