Glad I found this video again, i've been using this template in many different spreadsheets for over 3 years now. Thank you for the awesome tournament bracket!
I mean, cool but it really doesn't explain anything. I want to know the formatting. Like how did you get the formatting to fill in empty lines when you click the boxes. THAT would be a tutorial.
Thanks for this template and tutorial. I used it to make a "Tournament of American Awesomeness" for my 7th grade social studies class on the last day of school. Simple to use... thanks for sharing!!
This is great! Want to use it in our school for March Mammal Madness. Is there a way to go in and score correct choices after brackets are completed to be able to choose a school winner?
Daniel, this is great. I would also be interested in tying in a losers bracket for a double elimination style. Any ideas or thoughts how I might be able to adapt that?
Maybe I'm missing something simple, but how to I link a form to this so that I can have people answer some questions, then fill out bracket, and I get all the info in a spreadsheet? Thanks!
i run a small gaming community and i'd like to use this template or a template like it to run a tournament. How does the ranking in this work, does it automatically adjust based on inputs and values, as in who wins each round, etc? And if not, do you have any other video tutorials that would help me create a spreadsheet for my personal needs?
I'm hosting a flip cup event at my local bar. I usually do a bracket which is pretty straight forward. This year however I want to make it so that the contestants can add their own name on some web/Google form and once all the slots are filled I can click a button and the bracket is auto generated. Any ideas on how to do that?
You could. You would have to insert a column before each school name. Then, use the =image( function to insert the image. It would be a decent amount of work, but could be done.
