Hey Sam. Your content is awesome! Can I ask you something? If a search term is loosely related to the product but it's quite broad (e.g. shoes or stylish shoes in your example), how long do you let it spend without a sale before negating it? Do you go until your break-even point or you check other benchmarks like cost per add to cart for example?
Here are the limits: 20 shared negative keyword lists per account 5,000 keywords per negative keyword list 10,000 negative keywords per campaign 5,000 negative keywords (maximum) are considered for Display Network and Video campaigns Source: www.karooya.com/blog/how-many-negative-keywords-is-too-many/#:~:text=Google%20Ads%20has%20defined%20limits,keywords%20per%20negative%20keyword%20list
Hello Sam, are there any ways to add negative keywords with condition rules? For eg. if a search query doesn't contain 'mug', then the ad will not be shown
Hey Bazen, really good question. Here you'll need to combine it with your regular keyword strategy. For 'mug' you'd need to make sure that mug is in all of your keywords for that ad group.
Hi Sam, I am running a google shopping campaign for a product with 9 total variants. It is a high demand product which just restocked. I am the first to market on google and have literally no competition for for about 5 out of the 9 variants. I finished optimizing the feed for them so I could get them up. Would it be a waste to us Karooya? Should I wait until I finish my entire feed?
Hey Joseph, Karooya is more for when you have a high volume of clicks. We use it for accounts where we're spending $500+ per day. This creates A LOT of data in the search terms report and Karooya speeds up the process of mining for negative keywords. You can do a lot of the work manually - and if you're just starting then I recommend this!
