She is one of my faves. She is the best living Persian singer among females, obviously after Hayedeh died. She is an artist, and please don't input your personal opinions about someone's life. She was born in Iran, speaks Persian, and was raised in Iran, and did her core professional career in Iran, not Turkey or Armenia. She was abused by many Iranian male artists. I have utmost respect for her as a Persian artist. So grow up and don't try to sound attractive by analyzing her name's meaning.

If I was in her position, Where the ayatollah and the clerical fascist regime puts the kybosh on her career, I’d be livid. I’d be looking to fight them tooth and nail, run, or die trying. Does anyone think she should have made a stand, no matter what it cost, if her work meant something? Performing guerilla gigs, collaborating with punk or post punk bands, secret parties, pirate radio, that would have made a wild story. Many singers are afraid to alter their teeth for fear it could effect the sound of their voice. She can certainly afford to have them "fixed" if she wishes.
