Googoosh is and was one the best Persian pop singers and performers of all time. She started out since she was a little girl and we all grew up with her. She could easily change the fashion of the entire nation as every 6 months when she had a new makeover, everyone did the same. Her short haircut was very famously called Googooshi, which all women went to salons to have it. After the revolution, she was imprissoned, banned and forbidden to sing and leave the country for 20 years,and just when they thought no one is going to even remember her so they could let her go,she had the biggest and most famous concert halls waiting for her in the world, all soled out with thousands of people cheering for her! No one forgot her and even the new generation,the young who were not in her time still listened to her music all these years.
