Crazy thing is, we actually took the worst part of this one out!

I've always suspected Mario was a secret badass, if only Nintendo would allow him to be this hardcore.

How normal people see Mario: Brave, Courageous, and Light-Hearted How Game Theory and the Internet see Mario:

Well at least we now know how terrifying Mario is in a goombas perspective

I like how they pretty much made Mario the doom slayer in this

Mario spares one of them, Desperately hoping that one would get the message, but they don’t, they continue to serve a mad turtle who only cares from himself and his legacy, Mario fought for love and hope, and yet everywhere he went all he spread was death, and so he desperate spares one, hoping that they can convince others to not join the mad kings side, but they never learn, they never change, this is what happens when a unstoppable force meets an unmovable obstacle, or rather on this case, a unchangeable idea. Young goombas, good goombas, fight and die for a uncaring tyrant. Brainwashed into fighting, And Mario is forced to fight, and so the cycle of violence continues, for ever, and always, for as long as good men standby and watch as innocent minds are twisted and turned, the bloodshed will never stop. May the stars have mercy on our souls.

Mario just wants someone to make as much fear as possible So that they stop attacking the fricking kingdom

This was an excellent story

Before you call Mario evil, keep in mind he's fending off actively hostile invaders, here. Mario only attacks when provoked, and is otherwise friendly. We've seen him regularly and peacefully interact with non-combatant Koopas and Goombas in the past, like Koopa The Quick in Mario 64, and Goombette in Mario Odyssey. Hell, he even helps Bowser Jr. when the kid comes to him under a truce in Bowser's Fury. If you want to blame someone, blame Bowser, who keeps initiating these needless conflicts!

I love how, if you listen very carefully, you can hear Mario's Japanese-Italian accent.

This video really speaks to the times I've been playing as Mario and killing a bunch of Goombas in one area, and choosing one to spare his life so it can tell the tale.

The worldbuilding on this channel is solid! GG Mashed!

Who's the real monster? The man slaughtering wholesale, or the King who lines them up, defenseless to the threat.

People like presenting Mario as some horrible murderous psycho, but keep in mind that Bowser is the one who provoked this war, and sent these unprepared goombas against him. If it were up to Mario, he'd be lounging in a field somewhere, peaceful and content. The plumber never starts these fights, but he sure as hell finished them.
