Ain't nothing like a sold out Nietzsche's!! Join us for an 80 minute multi-cam premiere of our first set from Buffalo last month: Atlas, Arcadia, Indian River, Drive 🛵 more at goosetheband.com
Great discovery I would say… I flew to Colorado from portland Oregon to see the show in Fort Collins at CSU campus. My first show! After a few years of you tube listening getting to finally see them 10/7/23 was amazing… check out that show on you tube… phenominal..
Goose feels like Phish, Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd met up with Sting, all took a hero dose of mushrooms together and manifested them out of thin’ish air.
I saw these guys for the first time in St. Louis a few days ago. They came out ripping and took off from there. A nod to the gentleman on the soundboard as that show sounded crispy!!
I see those trips to Colorado have rubbed off. Covering Wood Brothers is a next level move. Well done, boys. If only Trevor matched Chris Wood's dance moves, we would really be in business!
Great set. These boys can not only jam their asses off but they also have those awesome hooks that draw the listener in. And I still have to wait to see them for the first time. Grrrr
Am I the only one who hears that sicknasty china cat tease in Arcadia, right around the little "breakdown" thingy at 30:00? I went back to listen a few times, every time I go "wow" a little in my head. So fresh.
Being from the Buffalo area, I'm quite bummed I missed this show. Thank you so much for the video! Cohesive fire as usual! Can't wait for you to come around again, I will be there!
I was two feet away from Tweeks and after this set I gave him a pat on the back and told him that was the way to jam. I was absolutely blown away by this set and ole Trev smiled and seemed like he was as into it as we were. This band IS THE REAL DEAL! Any band that can pull off a captivating four song / eighty minute set is in Elite company.
Pretty sure the middle part of that Drive jam (1:08:20) is either based off of Arrow, or they're literally writing Arrow as they're jamming it. Pretty rad if it's the latter.
You guys are really hitting your pace now, sounding awesome. Aqueous, Goose, Spafford, PPPP, we are really getting spoiled with these "Young" jamebands these days.
It's performed by The Wood Bros, but it was written by Oliver when he was in his prior band King Johnson. Definitely check them out, they were incredible.
@@ctbojar True fucking story. I was rooting for the Jauntee, and those guys are unstoppable too, but Goose caught fire and it's coming. They'll be in sheds in 3 years.
mark smith Not true about Phish and I’m not a Phan but you just showed your hand their partner. Goose has great lyrics. Catchy and actually relatable. Smart group too. Atlas is a wood brothers song who are fantastic song writers... and they cover a lot of other great songs which influence them as songwriter. I can’t think of very many peers who write better these guys right now. I’ll wait until you name one 🤔😎.
Garrett Carrico I meant phish focus more on lyrics than goose. I’ve listened to both bands. Phish sucks. This band is good I really like their jams. Just wish they had better lyrics. Lyrics are weak to me. But it’s all relative. Maybe their lyrics speak to 20 year olds. I don’t know. But they don’t speak to me at 55. I still like the jams. And I’m coming from a perspective of a band like the Grateful Dead. And Robert hunter who wrote great lyrics that still hold up today and are ageless really..
