TIP OF THE DAY: MOST ADULT CATS ARE LACTOSE INTOLERANT ... it cause gastric disturbance. There are several workarounds however. First is serving goat milk (naturally lactose free) instead of cow's milk. Second is serving lactaid (lactose reduced cow's milk), or you can ferment your own yogurt or kefir with a culture that includes lactobacillus. I make kefir weekly, and if I had a cat I would use that as an occasional probiotic treat.

My cat eats everything....if he doesn't like it, he'll wait for another food.

@@bArsik-0700 Indoor pets rely on us for all their food, and cant communicate cravings to us - our only options are to read up on their dietary needs and pay careful attention to their health, demeanor, skin & coat, weight, and bowel movements, and finesse things as best we can to give them the best life possible in exchange for the love and companionship they give us. That is the compact of being a pet owner. Anyway, I gave you a verifiably valid tip regarding a common feeding goof that any competent veterinarian will corroborate. Simply brushing it aside with an 'if he doesnt like it he wont eat it' is ... a bit disappointing. If you had a food intolerance that gave you periodic issues, wouldnt it bother you if nobody cared enough to notice and maybe help identify and resolve the cause, esp if the fix were trivially easy ? If you truly love your feline friend, you should strive to be more receptive to and well versed on such things. - just trying to help. peace.

BTW, the topic of milk is timely ... a few years ago I helped my wife diagnose a food allergy that had bothered her for many many years ... after a lot of reading and experimentation, I isolated it to an A1 Caesin intolerance. Switching to A2 milk solved the 60 yr old problem. I put in the effort because I love her. Cats being lactose intolerant is an easy fix . . . all you have to do is care.
