I'm Ukrainian Canadian and my Ukrainian ancestors left western Ukraine and moved to Canada a few years before the Bolsheviks invaded. Canada was home away from home to many Ukrainians and has the 3rd highest population of Ukrainians at around 4% of the population which is almost 1.4 million Ukrainians.
