I have to agree. The malls in Pinas are far superior to our pathetic malls here in Canada. The thing I love when I go to Pinas every year is seeing how happy Pinoys are there. It's a great atmosphere especially Glorietta. Definitely a highlight for me ... Love 🇵🇭
When I was a kid back in Makati I used to live and go to school near here and I would spend a lot of my free time here. Of course that was back when it was the Makati Commercial Center, but of course it's almost totally different and unrecognizable nowadays. Still, next time I go back I would like to explore Glorietta a lot further. I've had a chance a couple times in the last few years, but not so much really. I'll miss the old Intercon hotel when they demolish it, it's probably the only thing left from those days that I still recognize.
Hi Evan, the landscape has definitely changed to make way for progress. The only iconic buildings that remain are the Dusit Hotel previously Manila Garden, Greenbelt 1, Rustan's, and Manila Peninsula. :-)
Hour Philippines TV Oh yes the Manila Garden hotel I forgot about that, I actually have one video in my youtube page from inside the Manila Garden hotel, it's from when I attended a friend's debut there in the mid 80s and we had a dance number as part of the cotillion where we danced to "Footloose", you should check it out, it's pretty embarrassing for me :)
Thank you sir sa pag show nito i have no Idea about Makati this year Im going home to the philippines and ill spend Two days in Makati with My relatives ,Thank you for this video a big thumbs up sir.Greatings from Sweden
Paboritong tambayan ko nung araw last last last laaaaast summer 2009-2014 masarap tumambay jan dameng poging papee kace! See, who sez the philippines ay puno ng pobreng tao? U see lotsa of ppl window shopping, jst walking around na kace tsinelas n the stalls r so full of clothes, bags, shoes but not much ppl really goes in n buys their stuff....
it'll never happen - malls make money, parks don't, they don't care about quality of life, just "buying more stuff" and ruining the natural beauty of their land, just like Thailand. greedy corrupt little bastards.
Closest 4-5 star hotels are Shangri-la Makati, Dusit, New World, Fairmont, Holiday Inn. For business hotel there is Crown Regency. Hope that helps! :-)
+Hour Philippines TV Actually I was referring to a mall directory, does such a thing exist or when I was there years ago they told me to go to the customer service desk.
Excuse me yung glorietta 2 po ay sumabog po kasi noon nung 2007 pero po ngayon ang panget na po nung glorietta ngayong 2017 dahil po putol na yung malakit sa stage
I really wonder how can commercial shops survive their business where I see most malls are half empty maybe except during peak seasons or holiday seasons. Few walkers are just there for the aircon environment. Omg ! 85% or maybe 95% g mga nag window shopping lang and for curiosity. Wowowowow, what an atmosphere. Its nice, malls are great, but there are so many malls at present and the lives of Pilipinos are simply depending for shopping on money from OFW ! Hohohohohohohohoh ! Mga mayayamang magnanakaw at korap na pulitiko and relatives lang ang nakaka shop sa mga malls. Hahahahahah, sad but its true.
