I'm 21 years old, live in long beach, and have been going to this race since I was 10 years old, finally a awesome video about the Grand Prix of Long Beach. Very well done.

I just went to the Aquarium of the Pacific the weekend after the race. So crazy to drive down the streets with those barriers and fences still up.

What kind of racing would this be called? ive been looking for it but havent found it. I know F1, Indy, Stock, Rally, etc. but not this. I love the gopro:) best thing ever made

There is a fisheye effect, look at the trees on the right. Also there are attachments designed to reverse the extreme wide angle of the lens.

In Hero2 you can choose if to use or not wide angle... And the quality is as good as the other shots it seems to me...

2:17 is that really shot on a gopro the quality is really good and there is no wide angle on the clip

did you take of the waterproof lens of the housing because it looks different.?

This is a great video demonstrating the limitations of a GoPro. Awful rolling shutter from engine vibrations, audio drop-outs, compression artifacts, and the ever-obnoxious fisheye lens. If you want mediocre results in a small package, this is the camera for you.

same with 0:26 , I have a GoPro and I am quite certain that that is impossible to do that with one.
