Very nice. Yes post production was involved in this clip. But look at the quality. A durable, waterproof camera, wide angle lens, easy to download, and for only $400. Gopro got it seriously right with this camera.

@AcXr50 i dont know what you've been using but for the rest of us were all satisfied, gopro are supplied with two rear doors, the sealed and the non sealed. the sealed is used in high wind situations, and the non sealed is used for under 100mph. when your doing a sport, your gunna have movement and there will always be wind in the mic. watch the goprouncut channel, the supercross bikes, you can hear fine with that
@MadSk8boarding there is a big difference in that the HD HERO has a port on the back that allows you to add on the new LCD BacPac - a removable LCD screen. Also, GoPro is coming out with a Battery BacPac for extended life, or recharging independent from camera, etc.
@oli90p i would just use masking, use the pen tool and a mask in after effects. then play with the still frames scale, and position on the time line to get what you want..
LMAO, this is F'n sick! I can't believe there are people replying to this that don't like it. Seriously, this is one of the best GoPro productions i've seen so far. Though I think they have some new HD shit goin on...something that hasn't been released yet.
oviously this is the HD HERO camera, not HD HERO 960, isn it? i want to buy one, but I dont know if there is a big diference between HD HERO and HD HERO 960. Thanks
I guess they will be releasing the HD hero3 next year that does 60fps at 1080p then? lol for now i can make do with 30fps, Im also interested to know what sort of mount he is using on his hand, its not the wrist housing like i originally thought.
Ok everyone after alot of research I found that they did in fact use just the hd hero in r3 720 60fps. The software they used to edit this is final cut pro. And the part where it's SUPER slow mo is done by a combination of final cut pro and twixtor. But they did use just the gopro hd hero
@YOURANOOBTRUSTME I've see a pretty wide gap in some of the quality as well. I'm thinking about buying the HD Hero right now but not if this quality is not what comes out of the factory model... what are you using? I'd be doing Final Cut with Color.
If you shoot at 720 60fps for slow motion, how to do you get the final video to upload at 1080? Do you just do a upconversion from 720 to 1080 on the export?
