Thanks. In a crowded pressroom where many photographers has the same gear I can always recognize my gear with the green tape on. I use the Pocket Wizard in the hotshoe of the camera, so every time I shoot with my camera it will trigger the remote camera as well….however, got a lot of useless pictures from the remote camera then, but also the 1-2-3-4 crucial goalscorer-pictures as well…and that’s what it’s all about.

The tape I figured it was to spot your camera immediately, but wanted to be sure :) As for the useless pictures, no one will ever see them but you, so like you said, it's worth it for the few that do matter! I've been shooting sports photography for almost a year now so any advice is always appreciated. Thanks again for sharing your work and advice, and happy shooting!

I've been practicing a lot and shooting a lot of games before attending the 4 year education as a photojournalist - and after that I've practiced even more..:-) Start out with not so long lenses, so you get the right feeling and then move on to some of the big lenses when you find it necessary. Good luck.

It's a Manfrotto - 709B - but it's actually a bit to close to the pitch (to low photoangle), so I will probably get another tripod, with is a bit higher...

Hi Ken - always shutter priority for the remote. Unless it's a night game, where the light will remain the same during the entire match, then it's all manuel...
