Congratulations on the video, it was excellent, Utrecht is a wonderful city, I hope to visit one day. I started a channel here on RU-vid recently and record in the same way here in Brazil. I signed up, I will follow you from now on. A big hug!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Utrecht is indeed a beautiful city, and I hope you get the chance to visit someday. It's great to hear that you've started your own channel in Brazil-I wish you all the best with it! I'll be sure to check it out. Thanks for subscribing and for your support! A big hug right back to you!
I totally agree! It’s no wonder that people who want to cycle for leisure or training prefer to ride outside the city, where the bike lanes aren’t so crowded with cyclists. But even there, the motorbikes are a real concern, especially when they pass by at high speeds. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed soon!
You're racing in lanes meant for normal commuting. That's potentially dangerous and very unsettling for the other users. Lovely views but at the same time not pleasant to watch. I live here, speaking from experience. 😇
Thank you for your feedback, and I really appreciate your perspective as a local! I definitely didn’t mean to cause any discomfort or put anyone at risk. I was very mindful of others on the lanes and did my best to pass safely without startling anyone. I agree that bike lanes should be a safe space for everyone, and I’ll make sure to be even more cautious in future rides. Thanks again for watching, and I’m glad you enjoyed the views!
@@legs4pedals I appreciate your open-minded response. Thank you. Not all cyclists are experienced, especially nowadays with ever increasing numbers of expats and new Dutchies among others (small kids for example). A bicycle really is a necessity and not a luxury here. A mistake, or just an unexpected movement, is so easily made. I remember when I first started learning to cycle here, at 27 years of age. I was absolutely terrified. 🙂
