Video of the Day! Hike, climb and paraglide through the Alps with Christian Maurer as he attempts to win the Red Bull X Alps for the third consecutive time.
Hey everyone we're a small production company that specializes in action sports such as skiing, downhill mountain biking, cliff jumping and more. We'd really appreciate it if you check us out, thanks
How does one get into this? Where did you get your start? This is my dream. How does one qualify for a race like this? If anyone has any information please message me.
I am italian and I have a very small house in the north (in the Dolomiti mountains) and I can totally understand why he is doing it. Being there is a wonderful experience, I can only immagine how it is to fly over those valleys...
I'm a teacher and had to explain altitude belts in the alps to my students, I used this video in several classes to visualise the actual belts....amazing footage, thanks.
This is so wild! Do these guys sleep during the hiking parts of the trip? I mean, it took just under 7 days to complete. They have to get some sleep in, right!?
Pause The Moment They had a forced 6 hour rest period (11pm-5am) every night this year, increased from previous 4 hour rule, with one overnight pass available for each competitor.
Coolest thing I have EVER seen. Thanks GoPro for making cameras, I would have never been able to see what I've seen if it wasn't for you guys. Amazing videos!
"Hiking up to 18 hours at a time", lol... what do these guys eat and drink and where do they carry all this stuff... and where do you sleep after 18 hours of hiking?
google "paragliding for beginners" or "starting paragliding" or something to that affect, and start working on your endurance abilities... like a lot! Going to probably need to become a decently experienced paraglider considering that if faced with challenges on the race like inclement weather or gear failure, you will need be able to handle it or risk an accident. Basic camping and/or mountaineering experience wouldn't hurt either.
vieni pagato con un premio SE VINCI, la quota d'iscrizione supera i 2000€ e i partecipanti vengono selezionati molto tempo prima...all'inizio sono più di 1000...alla fine alla competizione ci si va in una ventina di persone
O people of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth, The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary , was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him . So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, ''Three'', desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son, To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs There is a lot of the answers to your questions in the Koran
I'm not into corporate-sponsored contrived drama, but I have to admit, this would be an awesome thing to do, pretty much a once-in-a-lifetime sort of things. Well done to the contestants!
Depends on weather conditions and pilot ability. I think Chigrel went more than 200 km one day. He averaged 150 km per day. Weather was good for pilots this year.
