Buyer beware with the cheap mounts on eBay. The mounting points can snap, as happened to my mate, luckily someone found and handed in his camera. Nice reverse btw mate!!!🤙
Haha man this is the exact one I had when I was 14 but because it was heaps bigger on me you couldn't really see my head, you're right about the angles though it's pretty annoying! I'm looking at getting a fetch dog harness or chest mount to put on my back now for something different
I don't think i'll ride another flat hull board. The quads are faster and sick for deep tubes. I spoke with ben player about them in the video we made - go have a look its really interesting if you want to know how they work.
I’ve been using a shoulder mount for a few weeks and I’ve gotta say I’m not a huge fan of it, I’ve been wanting to get a mouth mount but I’m scared of getting pounded and having it get ripped out of my mouth lol
Yeah shoulder mount sucks. For the mouth mount Just put a shoelace around your neck and it’s all good. I’ve never had to let it go yet, but I have ripped the rubber once.
If you don't mind me asking, what size LE fin do you wear and what's your shoe size? Do you find they fit pretty true to size? I'm looking at picking some up but I'm in Hawaii and nobody has them to try on. I'm a 10.5US shoe size and currently use Bluntcuts in Medium 7-8 that fit me perfect. No wiggle or slop. I was hoping the LE Medium at 7-9 would provide a similar fit, but I've never had a chance to compare their foot pocket sizing to other brands. Also, that board looks sweet in all black! Thanks!
I’m a US 9.5 or 10 and I use a medium sized fin. I’m not sure how true to size they are. Make sure you check their size chart. I’m not sure either about comparison with blunt cuts, but It sounds like you’d be a medium. Yeah the Benny player boards are sick man!
Jay Boogie POV Thanks for the reply and info, I really appreciate it! Sounds like we're pretty close in size. Can you speak on what kind of fit you get with the medium? Any slop in the fit? Toes go all the way to the end of the foot pocket? I know you were using strings, but with the way they currently fit, could you get away with not using them and having the fins not come off assuming the surf wasn't pumping?
