@bmxandmotox4life yeah i got the chesty attachment, i love it you can set the camera in different positions to see your riding positioning and everything
@hondaman728 I'm 5'5 and 120 lbs and I have a yz 85. want my opinion try to wait a little bit and get like a crf250r or a kfx250r because the yz 85 is hella fast but you grow out of it quick! Oh and if you're going to be trail riding get a 4 stroke because 2 strokes arent ment to be trail riden. 2 strokes they get real boggy on trails.
I went from a 250 two stroke to a 250f. Hell I still love riding these 85s! Full throttle and roost it through the turns. My yz85 was a great bike and I kind of regret selling it.
you look like your haulin pretty good lol...as for whos bikes better, all these mini moto bikes are the same basicly, i have a '11 kx 100 and im 22 -135 pounds it shreds, i think the 85 has a harder hitting top end tho it felt faster.
Ol' boy is GITTIN' IT. Nice airtime. I'm a 39 year old 200 lb 6' tall guy who now has all but retired his EXC400 and YZF450. Nowadays me and all my friends are stealing our kids and girlfriends bikes and hauling ass through trails without all the grunting of a fullsizer. Our playbike stable that gets all the ride hours (sorry kids & girfriends): 2009 TTR125LE, 2007 CRF150F, 2009 KLX140L, and for speed: 2009 KTM 105 XC and 2008 CRF150R Expert. And 4 fit in 1 Tacoma Truck Bed! Little bikes=FUN.
Hello, just got a yz 85 2020, but i have a question. When i put it in gear and releas the clutch the bike goes but not a lot, after i take some speed i feel like the clutch is engaed, like at low speed in 1st i feel like its slipping, is this normal? And can some one help me if its not?
Riding trails isn't going to hurt it. Most of the guys that race off road and enduro ride 2 stokes. My buddy has a CR500 and only rides trails. Check out my videos. Good riding man! I
It won't mess up the bike bad but he is right about the bikes being better for racing instead of trails because a 2 stroke is really supposed to be up in the rpm's. I think I read like 6,000, correct me if I'm wrong. If you are doing trail riding look for a crf150f or 230f those are great for trail riding. But in all honesty you will be fine with a yz85 just don't drive 7 hours for it.
hey how tall are you? i wanna get a yz 85 11, but idk for sure on the year. but i know of one its just like a 7 hour drive. but my dad says i shouldnt get one because they arent supposed to be trail ridden hes been told? does it actually mess up the bike if u go trail riding a lot instead of motocross? sorry for the long message. please respond!
Im about 5"10, around 180 lbs. I'm getting a honda CR125R for christmas. a 125 2 stroke is basically the same power as a 250 4 stroke. You will be fine :)
no you won't mess the bike up you just won't be able to open the bike up and use the power it has. if you have trails around and ride on them more then the track then i recommend getting a 4 stroke and doubling the cc of the 2 stroke you want
Hey, i have a question... I'm 1,75 tall and 14 years old. The yz85 Big enough for me, it does not have to be 100% Perfect (i do Not want 125) .... I do Not want to Drive professionally only sometimes in the woods please answer ;)
hey im turning 15 at the end of the month what bike should i get im about 5'8, alot of people say an 85 but people say they are to small so a 125? Sorry about the annoying question.Thanks.
@@Clouderrr Not when shifting. When off throttle and decelerating fastest way to cease your motor because its not getting lubricated when engine braking. What you're supposed to do is pull in the clutch when decelerating so that the motor is at idle while your gearbox is still spining at 50mph.
@@carsonmiller9658 I wrote this comment a year ago. Now I have an RM125 and I engine break often because my clutch doesnt work properly. I just blip the throttle while decelerating that way it gets some lubrication
At first i was like, oh another guy who thinks he can race start. Jesus christ that is the quickest 85 i have ever seen. and a really nice clean ride too :)
