The Gordie Howe International Bridge, also known simply as the Gordie Howe Bridge, is a public-private partnership project to construct a new bridge connecting Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
The bridge is named after Gordie Howe, a legendary hockey player known as "Mr. Hockey," reflecting his impact on both Canadian and American sports culture.

Ah, working to fill the gap finally. So curious (suspect there is a simple explanation) leaving that gap to the last. Curious, all that lumber installed [2:00 and sub] What are all the stacked items you show at [2:57] ? MUCH progress with the concrete encapsulation of the cable stay anchors ! And soundtrack o.k. this time.

The gaps being closed are the expansion joints. When structures get above a certain size they have to be built in separate sections with expansion joints so as the structure flexes, expands, and contracts they won't start to break apart. The lumber is used under parts of the bridge that go over public streets to protect from falling debris/a temporary work platform

My guess all those stacked items are all the railings that will go along side the bridge. Looks like they were just delivered early because they have been there some time. Just a guess.
