I think that is the most interesting cooking technique I have ever seen. The fact that that rye bread came out so perfect, and just jumped right out of that pan is a Marvel. Boiling/Baking bread under the ground perfectly. Now I have seen it all

I used to do the exact same thing in boy scouts, its far less glamours than they make it out to be. The fact is you have to wait the better part of a day+ for food, but the goal was to learn how to survive and plan ahead.

Im polynesian. We used to boil foods and make steamed in hot springs. We used to also throw tea pots in hot pools to make tea because not everyone had oven's.
