I loved how in that new documentary the Jazz made it completely just ignores that he was ever here 😂

Thanks for opening up the door for the Don and Rudy era. Although I’ll always wonder what a lineup of Rubio, Mitchell, Hayward, favors and Gobert could have done.

nah imagine if they kept george hill, still traded for crowder and used favors as a backup center like he should’ve been. starting lineup hill, mitchell, hayward, crowder, gobert

Hayward could have been a legendary Jazz man. Instead, he's one of the most despised former Jazz players in history.

Gotta be one of the darkest days in Jazz history.. the build boards, the stayward hashtags, the chants, the unwavering support throughout the years… all ending because of a piece put in The Players Tribune 😔

Can you elaborate? What peice in the players tribune?
@nathanjohnson6979
@nathanjohnson6979 24 дня назад
@@801MOTO3 Go and google The Players Tribune - Gordon Hayward. He announced his departure from the Jazz via The Players Tribune. It was reported prior to this Tribune piece that he had made the decision to leave us. He came out right after saying that those reports were “false” and that he hadn’t made a decision yet. After a couple hours of waiting, this piece dropped out of no where. The false hope that was given in order to finish his Players Tribune piece was heinously thought through. It was a lot to handle as a Jazz fan when it dropped. Felt like we got played like a fiddle.

Many Jazz players have left to go elsewhere thinking they could do better. Many of them ended up like Hayward. He can't really expect the fans to like him after all that happened.
@troydessert610
@troydessert610 26 дней назад
I believe most Jazz fans were disappointed when he left and how it happened. Regardless how it all happened Gordon was a great player and brought effort each night. My guess is that if he could have a do over, he would have chosen differently. I remember Kobe last game when he stepped into the foul lane just encase Kobe missed the FT. I have much respect he had that awareness of that situation.

When Gordon had that nasty ankle injury my buddy said, “Should’ve called Gail!” He left on a sour note but I still wish he stayed on the Jazz. It would have been great to see what could have been.

Teams treat it like a business but when a player does, people call them a traitor. He was a great player, sad we lost him, but I'm glad he did what he felt was best for his personal life and goals.

The reason Gordon hurt so much was because we had just gotten over the hump and were a playoff team. We had defended him for a lot of years. Also, it hit hard because if we couldn’t keep a white, married, Republican who liked to play video games with a max deal then who could we keep?!

@Christian-d7n
@Christian-d7n 17 дней назад
Oh boo-hoo, Jazz fans. Hayward left because it was the best opportunity for him as a professional. It really had nothing to do with the Jazz because GH had this unique ability that gave him options to get paid what he was worth in the NBA and choose where he wanted to go. It is tragic that he got hurt and that it impacted his career the way it did. He would have been a legend anywhere had he not suffered that catastrophic injury. Amazing that he was able to come back from that. That was grit.

Why is the interviewer more obsessed with his haircuts, his glow up, and his appearance?? 🌈 🌈 than the fact that he betrayed jazz fans? “Why did you betray the jazz the way you did?” “Do you regret your decision?” “Do you believe in karma?” Interviewer clearly too young to this organization and attracted to Gordon to understand how burned UJ fans are by him

Things I remember from Hayward Missing the national championship buzzer beater banking off the rim. D-Will hurling the ball at rookie Hayward. Kobe vs Hayward Footwork was awesome cool surprising dunks All-Star League of Legends Still sad his luck 🍀 was so poor after leaving Utah. Bad karma is for bad people. This guy just chose a change of scenery. Hope his next ventures go well.

Loved Hayward when he played in Utah! Hated to see him go to Boston, but I grew up a Celtics fan before there was a Utah Jazz. Always thought there was a little too much hate thrown his way. And I was sad to see his injury derail his B-ball career somewhat. Wish he would have stayed, but would we have gotten Donovan? I think Donovan would have broken our hearts just like Hayward had he not been traded. Wishing Gordon all the best in his storytelling. Here’s hoping he does make family friendly movies.

He should stayed on the Jazz or went to the Miami Heat....he would still be in the NBA because they don't just discard their stars as they age. NBA didn't want him in the league anymore just like Iverson and Carmelo they start trading you to teams where you don't fit and give you scattered min put you in position to fail and the media starts talking crap. Last year on the Hornets GH was still putting up good numbers and then all of the sudden he can't play anymore on OKC. Injury that derailed his career...Jae Crowder gets away with not only taking out GH legs but holding him down up high on his jump pointless flagrant foul game 1of season that never got called or discussed.

Paid like a champion and never made any difference. Even the Clippers series went through Joe Johnson. This is why it’s hard to watch the NBA now. It’s just mostly sports entertainment like the old WWF. Stupid cliches and selling you the promise they never can deliver on. Jazz belong in the G league since Jerry left, just a farm team selling tickets to watch a “process”.
