Though men try to twist, and find a way out of the fact that God is almighty, and without Him we are nothing, He always manages to use people to bring down every attempt of men, to try to live life as he or she pleases without God's rules at heart. Mary said, at the Kana wedding, "Do whatever He says" Mary is the mother of Jesus, and venerated as such, she was left to us as a mother, not a God, sadly more people pray to her, then they pray to her Son the Son of God, they never mention in their prayers Jesus, in the bible we are told that there is no mediator other then Jesus who can go before God with our prayers, it is He who can be heard by God through His sacrifice on the cross, He became our Redeemer, we can pray to Mary to intercede for us infront of Jesus who then takes our prayers to God, leaving out Jesus, who is God, to pray to saints, and also Mary, is not in the bible, Mary always took the side line, knowing that her Son was above all, even above her who gave birth to Him, she acknowledged that He is the Son of God, infact she called herself the servant of God, and did not think that she was above Him. It is wrong to say that she is equal, she is blessed among all women on earth, because she was chosen by God to bring forth His only begotten Son, but the fact is she does not want to ever over shadow her Son, and it is wrong for men to go against her wish. She is blessed, she is our mother, given to us by Jesus, but she never said she was God, and never intended to take all the attention away from our true redeemer, so read the bible and read what she said, she called herself a servant of the Lord, that is how humble and righteous she was, do you think you are doing her a favor when you put her on a throne that she never said was hers? Blessed is she, who said yes to all that God asked of her, and never once did she claim to be other then a servant to our mighty God.
Madeline Bugeja Hi. What you wrote is typical Protestant teology. Mary is not God, of course not. He is JUST his MOTHER. Denying this would be denying the Diety of JESUS. Now lets come straight to business. Potestantism is roughly 500 years ola while the Catholic Teaching has a 2000 yrs old History and this is a FACT. Now this is how one knows the TRUTH. Whoever TEACHES that the EUCHARIST is just SYMBOLIC Is fake/decieved/and a deciever. The foundervof the Protestant reformation, martin luther BELIEVED :) YES ,BELIEVED IN THE PRESENCE OF JESUS CHRIST IN THE HOLY EUCHARIST, BLOOD, SOUL, FLESH And DIVINTY thus worshipping HIM so. What changed? we all know the answer to that. Yes these could be the last days, and yes we await such Deceit, so we better watch out.
