So, people have pointed out the news that Gordon actually fell off the cliff during the shoot. If you notice, Gordon is wearing a completely different Black hoodie when he ate puffin at the restaurant and made the bread at the volcano, but you can clearly see he was wearing a different one during the cliff scene. That means that bread footage was either before or after the fall and there was an effort for Gordon to wear similar clothes when he was in the cliffs in this video so the transition was seamless between cuts. This explains how his bread got "stolen" and not overcooked instead.
