She keeps it real. She knows she wasn't taught certain life skills bc her parents never parents which is their loss, but now she's an adult and she's learning and growing in ways I'm sure she never thought she would be able to. She's just wonderful.
Gordan Ramsey is great. I think a lot of people don't understand that he's a really nice guy. He shows it in a lot of different ways if you watch some of his other shows. Like his Great Escape series. He's a lot of fun. And also very kind and sweet.
Drew is the polar contrast of Gordon......she is s sweetheart, honest and terrified of hurting people's feeling... Gordon is a great guy underneath that rough exterior and he is also honest, brutally so, and unafraid to hurt someone's feelings because it's not intentional, he has fantastic management skills, unconventional maybe but he gets to the root of the problem and brings the very best out in his staff and other people! Like his mentor taught him the great Marco Pierre White..... don't take it personally take it professionally!
It’s interesting how Gordon said “I can build them back up quickly again.” That’s like a military concept, tear them down or tear down the part that needs to change then build them back up the way you want them to be. Important side note- we need Drews and Gordons in the world, and one shouldn’t be trying to be like the other too much. They’re created differently for different purposes.
I like Drew and hope she does well, but she's just talking about herself a little too much in her interviews. She would do better to focus on the person being interviewed and sharing less of her opinions and where she's coming from. I get it, I do it too. You think you're relating to people, or trying to explain your way of thinking, but it doesn't make for a good interview. It's just taking too long to get to the point too. Also, I like she's positive, but sum up the compliments would help. Again, like her and hope she does well. I'm just having a hard time watching her interviews. I like her, and watch to see her, but mostly tune in because I'm interested in the person being interviewed and I'm feeling like I'm getting too much Drew and not enough of the person getting interviewed, I find it hard to finish these videos.
i honestly get what you mean but its also the drew show lolz, but i kinda like it gives more of a raw interview like two people talking rather than some queued questions .
I understand Drew, my boss is like Drew and I’m like Gordon and I can’t stand it when people step all over her because she is too kind. I’m just head on, and blunt.
A person can brutally honest and an amazing person all in one. My circle of friends is literally so small because I'm so honest. That's how I know who is real and who is fake. We love just as honestly. People just never get to see that cause they get too butt hurt these days.
Drew has to learn to stop rambling.. She asks a question then goes on and on talking about herself, interviews on zoom need to flow back and forth.. Gordon tried to answer, and honestly i wanted to hear more from him. She is not the celebrity guest she is the host, ask quickly then let him go on and on. How frustrating...
Drew Barrymore is a great interviewer. I was expecting more of a comedy. But it's refreshing to see this variety talk show with very modern and cosmopolitan subjects/conversation in an amusing and interesting perspective.
My only critique, is that you were both very articulate and I had to look up two words during your show. Which I don’t mind doing, but it may be off putting for others.
You say that being truthful without tact solves a problem, but people hate you for that because it's not nice...you know, it IS okay to be nice sometimes, but if you're rude ALL the time, no one will WANT you around them (not directed at Gordon Ramsay per se, but I've known people or bosses that act that way)
I get that, but the thing about Gordon is he always brings people back up. He has to get people to see the forrest through the trees first, and personal feelings get in the way.
