I was enjoying this video while eating my steak up until the end. Now I'm crying into my well seasoned fragrant steak realising just how alone I am. Thanks @Gordan Ramsay
SHEEPLE THIS IS NOT GORDON RAMSAY, THIS IS A THE ORIGINAL GORDOM, GORDON RAMSAY IS A DEEP STATE BOT THAT IS TREATING HIS FOOD IN CHEMTRAILS, anyway the guy holding the gun? That was me back in ‘68 we were about to head off to Nam when Gordom decided that his stupid fucking steak needed more season, I told him just go to kfc get the gravy there, but no he had to finger that steak and it was then that I pulled the trigger What I’m trying to say is that I killed Gordom Ramsee and this Gordon Ramsay is a deep state clone who’s here to prepare us for the food inside FEMA CAMPS, PREPARE FOR RETALIATION THE BIG STATE IS COMING TO FUCK US IN THE ASS LIKE GORDON FUCKS RESTAURANTS JUST SO HE CAN KEEP SHOW THAT IS 90% AN ANGRY SWEATY ENGLISH MAN. I’d still bust to that steak though
That's what it is in every filmed production he's done. Why do you think the camera is always zoomed in when he cooks? To better hide the gun at his head. Why do you think he's always so angry? Because he lashes out in fear at other people for if they do bad, it makes him look bad and that isn't good enough for the person holding the gun.
I have such a profound respect for Chef Gordon Ramsay. He’s such a great teacher and I hang off every word just to try and improve my cooking abilities.
@@Carl_McMelvin That was like 3 or 4 tablespoons of butter! What do you think a "tiny knob" is supposed to be? Maybe you and your alcoholic friends should stick to hot pockets.
@@Carl_McMelvin Yes, you do need a lot in there to spoon it over the meat. That's why you don't baste with a tiny knob of butter, you use an appropriate amount, like he did
I cook my steaks your way and they always turn out delicious. In fact, my husband the other day said: this is the best steak I ever had! He said it about 3 times. LOL Thank you for being willing to share with us. I really like your videos with your family by the way. God bless you and your precious family.
Ben Cox u need at least that much to base it especially if your pan is bigger then that because you need enough in there to form a puddle so you can actually scoop it up and base it onto the steak smaller the pan the less butter you’ll need but u need enough to be able to take a nice scoop of it and base the steak
Thomas Adams get out there and make some friends. Join a club, go to the pub, go on a road trip, go on a dating website, visit family, don’t feel sorry for yourself and I mean that in the nicest possible way.
I married a vegetarian. I love him dearly. We are soulmates and he makes me laugh....but every now an again I consider divorce simply because I cant eat a fucking steak alone forever!
i follow his instructions from a previous yt video on cooking steaks and the steak comes out great. In that video he follows exactly what he says here so he is consistent in his advice.
The Devils own morons like to eat shoe leather. In fact there is NO better way to find out that your talking to a asshole then they order their Steak Well done. Go to Apple bees where you belong
I think it all comes down to personal preference. Most of these tips are the exact opposite of what my mother would like. Of course this is the same woman who literally cuts off a piece of roast and eats it within seconds of opening the packaging from the store.
@@sneakymilkman4203 you are brain dead actually. If you can insult someone just for a simple polite question I'm really sorry but your parents failed your education
Literally just made this for my son and I. He is 5 and we love steak but I've never done it this way. I used thyme and rosemary, with some smashed fingerling potatoes and sweet peas. This is so amazing! Melt in your mouth, tender and juicy. My son can't contain himself! Perfect number 10 right here. Thanks Gordon! Awesome recipe!
Gotta say that the thyme, rosemary and garlic tip is ON point! Won't cook a steak without those 3. The smell is appetizing and adds a nice touch to the flavor aswell.
For seasonings try some paprika not alot just a little. I season mine with salt, pepper, a hint of paprika, and a little onion powder and let it sit on there for a bit and then I follow the rest of his tips. These tips and a little patience and even a well done steak can come out juicy and still flavorful. Really helps is to take the juices from the butter nd spread it on the steaks when you take them out of the pan to let them rest.
Serious question....if you did ever meet him, what would you do...tell him he's a good chef, tell him you watch his RU-vid videos, tell him that you tried his steak cooking tips or just instantly realise that he is just a person? You see, the reason you would like to meet him is because he's an influential figure and the whole cooking talent isn't relevant. If you do ever meet him, tell him to walk down the street with you to find a few homeless people, take them to his restaurant, give them the full works free of charge, capture the full event and then post it up on RU-vid. It'll never happen because the figure you 'hope' to meet one day wouldn't want to associate themselves with the ones who aren't wealthy for the simple reason that it might deter these so called upper classes of society away from dining there. I can afford to eat there, but I would never go there because of the pathetic examples of the customers with their expensive clothes and expensive pointless wrist watches on, yet get their phone out to check the time.
Gary Oak what is wrong with you? Russian troll? Mommy won’t let you out of the basement? You’re trolling everybody in the comments section. Makes you look like a pissy little shitbag.
Thank you, Gordon. I don't know if whoever will see this comment, but I deeply appreciate all your videos. I truly appreciate you're cooking techniques. In your videos, you are totally amazing. And you have a wonderful family. I've seen some videos and you're just a great guy. Thank you so much, and may God bless you and your family.
Back when i was a teenager learning to cook i followed Mr. Ramsay's instructions to the letter. *Perfect steak on the first try.* Now i enjoy cooking all the time after that single inspiration. *You rock Gordon!* 👍
My 11 year old son is obsessed with your cooking he was over the moon today because he got me to buy him a new wok and he watched this and made a beautiful steak for tea for four of us was the best steak ever he’s made a few of your recipes there always spot on 🥩🍴🍷👨🍳
@@AWhatPlayerTony, oh, I see; you believe the old meat/butter causes heart disease/artery clogging nonsense. I'm far more fearful of grains, sugar, and carbs than I am of steak and butter.
Shoegal7 I disagree lol, carbs is short term, fat and cholesterol is forever. If you wanna die an early death then keep eating high fat and cholesterol
Exactly, my point was too much of anything such as butter, steaks lobster and of course processed sweets leads to high cholesterol, hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes to name a few preventable ailments.
I was in Copenhagen in April 2022 with some friends and we found a market where a seller was selling entrecote from a finish farmer that had won 1st place in the best entrecote that year. So I decided to buy it and learn to cook it. I went to youtube and Mr.Ramsay who under 5-10 minutes taught me how to cook a entrecote. But before that I put it in a salt bath for 8 hours, then rinsed it. After I put the pan on very hot, put in about 50 grams of butter and fresh thyme, then peppered the entrecote and put it on top of the fresh thyme. I also added some red pepper to it. I seared the short sides and when close to done I took a spoon and poured the hot butter on top of the steaks. It got served with potato wedges and a home made redwine sauce. So thanks for teaching me how to make a wonderful entrecote. After that I have bought so much entrecote which isnt even close to the quality of the one in Copenhagen and am trying to find a way to make them taste equaly good =)
I was doing steaks so wrong. I did the double roll in seasoning , oil in hot pan and sear every side , add garlic , turn down heat add onions to caramalize beside the steak in the same pan. Then do the butter and baste while cooking , then let it sit for 10. It’s was so good.
Ty, Gordon!! We followed all the tips except the "Tiny nob of butter" lol. We swapped butter with a creamy high protein mustard sauce to keep it super healthy! I put up a video on our channel if anyone needs the recipe.
