Steve is so humble. He owns a little general store in Massachusetts with his wife. Visited it a few months ago. It's crazy seeing a big celebrity just behaving as normal middle class American.

Michael has been putting up his "Steve Carell" impression ever since The Office ended, and I have to say, he's pretty good at it.

Totally relate to Steve Carell's experience of fine dining... Had a flatmate in the Gourmet Society at uni and she persuaded myself and another flatmate to go to probably the best French restaurant in town for dinner (mid-week and large party so priced for students). Meal was four or five courses of lovely food, that had been beautifully prepared, but - as 'nouvelle cuisine' - consisted of a tiny delicate dot in the middle of an enormous white plate. Got to the end of the meal (quite late by now) but was STARVING... So the other flatmate & myself went out the door, straight over the street to the chippy and ordered up a huge, greasy fish & chips!

I 100% agree with Steve. I don’t understand the paying over a certain amount for food I’ve had meals that I’ve very much enjoyed that don’t cost over $100 for two people not even close

Steve is explaining the French Laundry in Napa- It is true they use freaking tons of different plates I certainly did not enjoy it and it cost me more than my mortgage for 2 people- Ok the experience for me was never again and yes- 1 hour later we ended up at an in and out burger joint-

I just started watching Office recently because I thought it was boring AF long ago when I watched the first few episodes. Boy am I glad I picked it up, Best show everrrrrr!

i have to say Jonathan Ross might be the only host who hasn't lost his sharp sense of comedy, and he seems genuinely interested in what his guests say no matter who they are as opposed to other hosts who just have to go through with it .

0:42 precisely what I was thinking just before Ramsay pointed it out, that you develop a nice moment and feeling from drinking all that fine wine, and then you flood it with tons of beer on top, you can only lose that great taste and feeling though such harsh blending of various things. I love fine Port, but to mix it with many other things would spoil my moment.

Gordon is the Mozart of fine dining I wish I could eat something he prepared himself.

Felt like the time I was in Tokyo and a friend who lived there took me to this high class restaurant and I had dish after dish of giant plates with tiny items on it. It was like $200 for a paper thin steak and I just couldn't see how anyone can enjoy any of it. We ended up going to this street alley bar that served tapped beer and chicken skewers for like 2 bucks and it was infinitely better than the restaurant we went to.

One of THE best performance in this show was still with the late great Robin Williams with the random character generator.

I like fancy-ish meals every now and then, but when they start to get silly in appearance or price, they lose me. It may look pretty but I came here to eat! is it good or is it just weird? will I need a meal after my meal?
