Jan-Chris has an amazing style of singing. Brutal as hell, understandable, mixture between growling and roaring. A little bit like Piotr from Vader. + great music, brutal and groovy = epic band.

Most underrated metal band EVER.

They're fairly unique, as they cover very well all fronts, most importantly the vocals. This fellow probably has the best death metal voice in Europe...to say the least.

I like how the guitar's are at the right volume so we can understand what the vocalist is saying, well done.

Holy shit.. the outro is heavy as shit. Damn, I miss Gorefest, the voice of Jan is fucking cool! "Fast" Eddy on drums.. and Frank and Boud riffs are the shit!!!!! Fuck, this was a real band!

Uber vox. It's incredible. It's another side of open throat like napalm death but much more juicy, Such a shame they stopped to play.

In my very humble opinion, Gorefest is one of the best deathmetal bands. Great music, and some of the very best lyrics in death metal (sarcasm? yes. criticism?yes). What's not to love? And tyhese guys live? It's a f*c^king treat. May they do their thing for a long long time.

Just started listening to them after I discovered they are from my home town, never really loved old metal, probably because this song is almost older than me, but gorefest really changed my view on old metal and I've been listening to them on repeat for a few days now, too bad I will never be able to see them live.

Growl no. 1 ever

I was lucky enough to see them in Almería, Spain in 2007, the perfect death metal show, opened with "The Glorious Dead" and closed with "Confessions Of A Serial Killer". Perfect set, perfect sound, not too much crowd and couple of whiskey bottles, what else could i ask? Ah BTW Ed Warby is a cool down to earth guy.

How does such a skinny guy produce such a massive sound? Close your eyes and you imagine the singer to be a 7ft. 500 pound giant :D Love the song though....

It's weird how they play instruments that are mostly used in classic and alt. rock, looks a bit funny

why the fuck would anyone hit the "dislike" button?!?! this band is so criminally underrated. a shame that they decided to disband again....maybe they could come together, do an album and a few shows, then go back to whatever else they want.

The album is good...the only weak point it has are the vocals...sound too happpy...same happened in the next album. Jan Chris was never able to replicate what he did in False.

This sounds different to what they used to do back in the nineties, but this is still AWSOME. Young kids should educate themselves about music before they start labelling everything as Deathcore or Metalcore: all you have to do is listen to the Death Metal produced in late 80's and early-mid 90's. Then you will understand.

@Fall4Kingdom actually, Greece's government is the worst ever, however I also take pride on Greek death metal bands such as Dead Congregation. And, dutch death metal rules, Pestilence, Sinister, Asphyx, Gorefest, Thanatos... Those bands kick ass.
