Justin took many road trips with his family as a child. So it was no great surprise that when he grew up he would convert a 24ft. 2006 International Bus to the perfect road tripping skoolie. The Pacific Pioneer, or "Turbo" as he calls it has the ability to travel from Mt. Rainer to music festivals, and all the places in between. This custom conversion allowed him to create spaces important to him: a large table for card games and meals, a rooftop deck with storage and solar, and a custom cedar bar are a few of the highlights. A must see though is how Justin created the perfect shotgun seat in his skoolie. Congrats on your beautiful bus conversion Justin!

The whole build is great, but I liked that he went into what it cost. I also like that he straight up said it isn't cheap to run one of these. Alot of people that own skoolies make it seem like these buses run on hope and universe juice.

That was the first person I heard talk about cost to "use" them & how things can break down & needing back up funds for the unexpected. Even if you do solar....great to say what you were going to use it for!!!!

Thank you for being honest about living with your parents and having a job that paid you well in tips. Too many times successful people gaslight readers/watchers and claim they did it "all on their own" and had no help. Not being bogged down by the price of rent and being able to save all your money IS HELP. Also thank you for explaining costs, the not so great side of bus ownership/maintenance and telling us you travel with people to split costs. One of the better ones I've seen. The handicap door, slide and swivel chair, and Jeep view were great ideas. You did great!

@@zorak609 Not true! Many Van Lifers have gorgeous bathrooms and have been SUCCESSFULLY living on the Road for YEARS! It's also a HEALTH issue. If someone is drinking the minimum 8 glasses of water daily & EATING a balanced fibrous foods, that should mean # 1, 4 times/day & # 2, 2 times/day. That's a WHOLE LOTTA HASSLE to rely on public bathrooms😂😂

Dude built the ultimate party bus! As a mom, I was so impressed that he worked hard for his money & invested it into something that will bring happiness & adventure into his life. And the build itself is downright beautiful. I especially loved the bar & that gorgeous table.🚊💛🌻🥂

A conversion can be BETTER than a factory RV. We like our 32' Aerbus but there are a few things we would change if we were doing a conversion. However, Rexhall thought things through pretty well when they designed our Aerbus. I love to see good conversions such as this one. The 24' length allows camping in more national & state park campgrounds. VERY VERSATILE. And that water heater arrangement is excellent.

Ingenious cooking centre. Love your ceiling too. Awesome job. This is the the first School Bus build I've seen that I would like to travel about it. For a 24 footer, you've covered pretty much all the bases. I hope you get many years lots of miles out of it.

Oh my!! I've been searching through bus-builds for days just to find one with a passenger seat! Most have an along the window bench seat, but I can imagine the passenger would have a stiff neck in no time. You nailed it!! Gorgeous job!

I love that 2nd seat that slides forward and spins to become a work area. We got our bus from Tony at aaabus and it’s a longer version of this same one

I love your little party bus. I’m considering doing a small bus just so the BF and I can travel some, all our adult children live in different states and it gets expensive to stay in hotels when we visit. Thank you for being honest about expecting repair bills and mileage cost, that’s something a lot of people gloss over. Happy trails!!! Bro you clearly have building skills. Dump the Nature's Head idea and just DIY your own composting toilet. You can build one with all the same functions including extractor fan for well under $100.

Thank you thank you thank you formthe reality check on the true costs of running these old busses. Transmission cost, fuel economy and the other suff you mentioned. On top of the costs of the build. Great job! Love the ceiling and open concept and the bar. Great practical touches for storage too.

Justin, You did a fantastic job with your bus. Especially love the sliding shotgun seat; could you post the exact type of hardware needed for that setup and where you found it?
