Taking a tour of the ‘Maryanne’ - a BEAUTIFUL new mobile home. I recently had the opportunity to visit Bob’s Family Housing in Dahlonega, Georgia. I toured a few mobile homes while I was there, and this was one of them. Mobile home living offers several distinct advantages for some people. Absolutely beautiful house, but not having a back door is worrisome.

Hi there! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. There IS another entrance/exit in the laundry room. I just didn't see it because i didn't walk all the way around the mobile home. You can see it when I walk through the laundry room. Thanks for pointing that out because I want everyone to know that it does have another door. And by the way, the picture in the thumbnail is not the same home. It's just a stock photo that I used--just for aesthetics. I don't have a good picture of this mobile home's exterior. But it is a beautiful home.

This house is GRAND, and stunningly beautiful, I would not change a thing! Colors and spaciousness and a fair price for all this spells VALUE to me! I wonder if I could get this in Biloxi? Thanks for a great tour of a great house! ♥️🙏👍

Thank you! I would look up dealers in your area. I think it's a Fleetwood mobile home but I'd have to watch the video again to be sure.

I live in NM and I have seen the Vinyl Siding melt in the sun like it had been near a fire .I like the houses with the concrete siding better.

@@maryleachmanbeautyconsultant OK fine watching houses melt in the sun is good entertainment too .Cars melt in front of the Disney Theater from the shape of the building reflecting sunlight on to the cars until they melt. Disney has always tried to keep us entertained as far back as I can remember. Poor People need some fun too while they are waiting for tornado season !

You sound bitter. Don't buy a mobile home if you don't like them. I know some have lasted for decades and the owners took good care of them--in southern states where it gets hot and humid. I have never owned one, but I know some people are interested in mobile homes because of their affordability. Everyone needs a place to live. I have nothing against them. They are good options for some people but they are not for everyone. Owning land with a mobile home on a permanent foundation is better than owning one and having to pay a lot fee. Please don't spread your bitterness here.

I lived in an old one in Point Dume club in Malibu I paid 79 and sold it for 900k after I gutted it and rebuilt from the inside out space rent is only 1,100 a month and that same house on a private lot would be very expensive due to the property taxes ,and an empty lot in Malibu with an ocean view is % million easy . They are a good idea sometimes.I am not bitter at all except that I sold it at the wrong end of the market according to Zillow but such is life.

Wonder what the materials used to build are made of. I am thinking about selling my stick built home and looking for a few acres of land. I am thinking of buying a doublewide mobile home instead of having a house built. I would of course want pernenant underpinning etc. This home looks nice inside.

Exterior materials commonly include vinyl siding for its low maintenance, fiber cement for durability, and asphalt shingles or metal for roofing. Interior walls are often finished with drywall, and flooring options include vinyl, carpet, and laminate for different areas. For insulation, fiberglass and spray foam are commonly used to enhance energy efficiency. Windows are typically vinyl for their energy efficiency and low maintenance, while doors may be wood or metal. Plumbing systems often utilize PEX or PVC pipes, and electrical systems use copper wiring. HVAC systems include galvanized steel or insulated flexible ductwork for air distribution. These materials together ensure that double wide mobile homes are durable, energy-efficient, and comfortable.

Our mobile home has apprecuated wuite a bit. When we went to the county apriasal dustrict, we were told that our house had appreciated because there was glass in our front door. They said they had never seen glass in the ftont door of a mobile home. Sigh.@@maryleachmanrealtor

No, it's not and I even said that in a comment above. I guess you didn't read it. It's pinned at the top. It is a stock photo that I used purely for aesthetics as I don't have a picture of this mobile home's exterior. It's not a good choice, but there were few 'free' options for me to use and it is what it is. Let me make this clear: i am not in the business of selling mobile homes. I don't care what mobile home you buy or who you purchase it from. I made this video purely for entertainment and to inform people about affordable housing options. I DO NOT WORK FOR THIS BUSINESS!!! Please visit your nearest mobile home dealership to see what they have to offer. There are literally TONS of choices out there.
