How long ago was that?

Es 2 horas al oeste de Ciudad de Panama. A lado de Coronado

I was only there for 2 nights in January and it wasn't too humid. I don't know about the rest of the year. I don't remember there being streetlights.

@@WanderingKenn Is it an issue in Panama or elsewhere without streetlights? The humidity issue is probably in the spring and summer.

I was there around New Years and didn't have any problems with dogs, fireworks or parties. The beach restaurants play loud music during the day.

@@WanderingKenn On the Best of Panama he mentioned once about living with the problem in Coronado/Gargona of fireworks and music until late at night or early morning on the beach. Is the restaurant music a bother to people living nearby, especially "older people" if there is alot of activity down on the beach below? There can also be sometimes outside smells that come with the breeze. Alas, I am not looking for perfection especially if we are considering the snowbird months like December-March. In that case it probably doesn't matter too much anywhere at any beach, whether Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua....what do you think about the beach situations in the different places or countries?

I imagine that the black sand is volcanic, but I'm not sure. As for the infrastructure, I especially liked that the area around Gorgona isn't so highly developed. There's too much concrete and steel in the world already.
