These two are actually exactly the same length, height, and weight. There are no 4 meter tall Albertosaurines. Just for comparison, the largest _T. rex_ is just barely 3.5 meters tall at the hips (see Scott Hartman's skeletal of Sue). Even a 10 meter long _Albertosaurus_ wouldn't reach 4 meters tall. The only known _Albertosaurus_ specimen we know of that reaches 10 meters is the individual from the Bone Bed described by Erickson et al. (2006). That one is a very old and rare individual though, and doesn't represent the average size. Additionally, Jovanelly and Lane (2012) find that _Albertosaurus_ ' bite force may have been roughly ~3,700 Newtons or about ~3 tons give or take. Since the two animals are morohologically almost identical as far as cranial mechanics go, then it's reasonable to think _Gorgosaurus libratus_ would have a bite force of around the same.

That is a fair fight. Sucho had the stronger bite force but you guys keep forgetting that allosaurus has serrated teeth, which can bleed the sucho out, and with the allosaurus’s hatchet bite and the teeth, it can kill sucho, mostly because allosaurus was a more experienced fighter and knocked ceratosaurus to extinction, but suchomimus is larger and can overpower the allosaurus with its claws. I would give this a 50/50. What do you guys think? Allosaur fan or spinosaurid fan?

The first dinosaur I even saw was one of these at The Field Museum. Their specimen was once considered Albertosaurus and now its a Gorgosaurus. The original mount of it was standing tall & dragging its tail.

@@denizerdener1688 I’d be more inclined to side with majungasaurus due to the fact that suchomimus had a thin weak jaw and bite force designed to hunt fish. Whilst majungasaurus had a short skull and a much more powerful bite than suchomimus and was a sauropod hunting specialist.

C'mon why'd you think a 7-8m long dino just slightly taller than a human would beat a 10-11m dino which isn't even fully grown(the largest Suchomimus specimen we know could be a subadult and not fully grown) just because of its diet and bite force? The Suchomimus could easily topple the Majungasaurus and it is done right there bcoz it will take a long-ass time to stand again with its puny arms. Not a fanboy of sucho but that'd be the more common "battle" outcome. Or better, the Majungasaurus would be intimidated right off and run away because sucho is much larger. And btw its bite force was lower than 1 ton which is similar to the sucho.

@@croccie8671 Now that I think about it I agree with you. While suchomimus had a weaker bite force it would compensate with it’s claws. Also the weight difference is quite large with suchomimus being two to three times the weight of majungasaurus. I think I over estimated the capability of majungasaurus, I thought it to be on part with larger abelisaurs like abelisaurus and Ekrixinatosaurus which would be able to beat suchomimus.

That is not true. The Albertosaurus evolved 100.5 million years ago. Gorgosaurus evolved 83.6 million years ago. They would have to evolve at the same time for that to even be a possibility.
