Hi Steve, I would recommend paint the new propeller. You can use any non copper based antifouling, we recommend Propspeed, Trilux 33 or barnacle barrier. 1mm of growth on the propeller blades cuts down on efficiency by about 12%. If you want to leave it bare you will just have to clean it often.
