I haven’t seen this familyin a while… They look great…. Always loved Kintaro’s, he’s really grown. Genki , mama still greedy and Gentaro is still testing the waters with dad😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
A tratadora não é ignorante, má, não tem problema pessoal, não é obcecada, e sofalamal da Genki em todos os canais de gorilas, ela é uma adulta com uma boa saúde mental, então ela entende que Genki está em cativeiro e já passou por muito sofrimento, ela tem empatia, mas que não tem mais sentimentos, já secou não entende.

Genki linda Genki, mãe extraordinária, eu tambem queria ficar conversando com você, achei fofo, inteligente, minha linda Genki ofetecer grama embyroca de amendoim, se ela cuspiu, não foi para pegar em cheio, a tratadora sabe que apesar de Genki ser muito inteligente, ela é irracional, assim igual o obcecado com ela, então a tratadora não leva para o pessoal, ela é inteligente e conhece a Genki, não é um moleque ou moleca cheia de ódio por uma gorila no cativeiro, parece bem irracional esse ódio pela Genki, pessoas com problemas de saúde mental. 1:08 😂😂 Gentaro is such a s*** stirrer. He’s testing his dad. That’s how the tyre ended up looped around the beam and zoo staff had to unloop it. Genki trying to swap grass for peanuts with the zoo keeper was hilarious 🥰
He's already done it a few times, but learned his lesson. The zoo has given Gentaro a "time-out" enclosure where he can spend time by himself if he's really driving Momotaro crazy. It's not likely his dad will ever seriously hurt him, but still, a silverback can do a lot of damage, even without fully intending to. At 12 he's really at an age where he should leave his family and join a bachelor group, but unfortunately there aren't any in Japan, or any zoo with the space to set him up with a mate to start a new troop, and for some reason Japan doesn't export any of their gorillas. So he'll have to stay in Kyoto for the foreseeable future.
@@KathyPrendergast-cu5cimost countries wont trade animals with Japan because they don't have the animal protection laws that everyone else does. Unfortunately gentaro isn't ready for a female, he is not mature enough. He needs to be separated from the family and have time to himself to mature. I don't think he would do good in a bachelor group either. They should have just made him his own enclosure, even if it was small and only temporary. Them leaving him in the group is just ridiculous.
That's probably a good thing. Older gorillas are prone to heart disease so they've likely adjusted her diet to keep her healthier. But she loves her food so maybe isn't too happy about it; nobody likes being on a diet. She was fed a lot of fruit when she was younger (before zoos understood more about their dietary needs) so developed a sweet tooth and also a tendency to overeat, but too much fruit isn't good for gorillas, or for their teeth. It also increases the risk of obesity or diabetes. Their natural diet in Africa doesn't contain much fruit so their bodies can't break down the sugar well.
@@justbreathe_ She probably weighs twice as much as her. These are big animals! I remember the trainer of the famous “talking gorilla” Koko, writing that Koko outweighed her at 120 pounds, by the time she was 7 years old, which is not yet adulthood for a female gorilla. And she had to stop playing with Koko in the same way, because the gorilla was so much stronger and could easily hurt her even without meaning to.
Wish they add at least had two acres to live in it just feels like watching the daily prison life of a family of Gorilla's. We love them but it makes us sad.
Bc he doesnt want to be here anymore. Young males always leave the family before they become a silverback so they can find some wives and start a family. Keeping him here feels very unnatural to him now.

Genki is so cute, even when she is sleeping. Gentaro doesn't pay attention to Kintaro anymore. Momentaro has became a softy, Gentaro can get by with about anything now,. Momentaro looks like he wants to play with Kintaro but doesn't know how to go about it,he had nobody to play with when he was a toddler on up to when he was a kid.

Gentaro has turned into a brown back. He has the bridge across his face too. What are they waiting for to move him. I saw a very disturbing video last week. They are castrating these young male gorilla so they don’t turn into silverbacks. I wonder if this is their plan here. The problem is they have no other zoos to send them to.
That is the worse thing you could do to someone is spit in their face. I missed it the first time and had to go back and yes it was disgusting. Out of the 4 of them which one is ALWAYS eating. the boys do not eat nonstop. I try to understand why but I just don't get it.
@@jacquelineaviles4662 especially getting spit on from a gorilla bc they eat their own poop! Ewwww lol. Genki is an old cranky gorilla. Shes very overweight. Theres nothing for her to do at this zoo which is pretty small other than eat and sleep. Theres no lake for her to bathe in. No real trees or grass, its a glorified prison so i dont think she is a very happy girl.
@@Sheryl777 yeah its kinda funny how they throw poo thinking the other gorilla wont like it, but they also eat their own poo. It makes me think that they arent throwing it bc they think the other gorilla would be grossed out like humans would, i think its literally just something to throw to them. Theres not a lot of different stuff for them to throw in captivity. Theres no small stones that ive seen.
